Chewy is the worst around. They don’t listen. They are worse than Walmart they’re shipping said I would have my stuff today even though I got stuff yesterday I didn’t need and it was all wrong and now today what I do need is not here but yeah, they’re telling me it’s supposed to be here, but FedEx is saying it won’t be here for two more days so now I have to go to the damn store for nothing You Suck.

Purchased a gift card for a friend. Wanted to check balance before sending to be sure it was active. The gift card's instructions plainly state "To check your balance any time, save your Chewy Gift Card in your Chewy account." At no point is it mentioned that this binds the card to your own account with zero ability to send it (and simply buying the item was not an option, since the gift was to contribute to my friend's larger purchase). Customer service could offer no assistance. Congrats Chewy, you drove me back to Petco.

I have a cat he's 15 years old and I also just had major abdominal surgery which makes it so I can't bend or lift anything. Usually I have to depend on other people to bring in something that's left by my door and that's what this review is about something that was not left by my door after I requested it. I had called chewy.com and explain the situation and explained that it's mandatory that they have FedEx bring the cat food that I ordered up to my door because I cannot run downstairs to go get what I ordered I can only go out once a day and I had already been out that one time. I was on the phone with them about maybe 10 minutes so that they could ride all this down they said that they would submit the report to FedEx I made sure that it would be delivered right to my door, I told the person I spoke with to have them ring my bell hi first floor and you need to either go downstairs or take an elevator to get to my apartment. They reassured me that they would make sure that FedEx did that especially after I explained to them that I just had major abdominal surgery and I wasn't able to go downstairs more than once a day. When I received the order where was the order it was downstairs I had to go on the elevator, I took my grocery cart downstairs and I had to break the package up while I was down there put each can of cat food individually into my car so that when I brought it back up here I can use my grammar to put it away on my shelf. I find this unacceptable I immediately canceled my account and told them that I don't like what they did and that they should have reinforced the situation made sure that FedEx delivered it where I asked them to. Other stores have been I've been putting orders by my door, and if it's something heavy I find a neighbor that will bring it inside for me I just wait until I can open it at a later time. As of today September 2nd I'm 22 days post-op. I just wanted people to know the bad customer service that chewy.com actually has.

am absolutely disgusted and furious with Chewy's Autoship service. and every single order was a complete disaster.Order 1: Their system "accidentally" doubled my very first order and unauthorized charged my card $500.Order 2: I received wet dog food wrapped in plastic. After putting it in my pantry, it began to rot. I opened it to find two cans were already busted open and completely covered in maggots. This is a severe health hazard.Order 3: Despite already shipping to my house twice, they suspended my Autoship to "verify my address" via email. Because I missed the email, they canceled my order and blocked my account instead of calling me.The Customer Service: It took a 4-day nightmare to get this fixed. Multiple agents spent 30+ minutes on the phone offering fake "I'm so sorry" apologies and claiming it was resolved, only for nothing to actually change. It wasn't until today that someone finally fixed it.Chewy's system is broken, their quality control is nonexistent, and their customer service is a joke

what can I say

When I want to buy a product, I don't always want to keep purchasing it over and over. Sometimes it's to try it out. However, if I don't sign up for autoship with you, I wind up paying DOUBLE for that product and I find that despicable. I stopped buying from Chewy several months ago because of this, and just checked out another product and sure enough, double. Nope. Even if I'm paying the higher price somewhere else, I'd rather buy it there than from a company that charges double if you don't comply with their thievery. Keep it.

I returned an item and I'm still waiting on my refund. Two days after it was sent via fedex I received an email reminding me to return the item. I called and was told they had received the item and my refund would be issued in 3 days. Well I am still waiting. I keep getting the run around. I will not be purchasing from them again. It was a gift for someone's dog, I have no pets, I will go to an actual store.

I started an autoship order through the chewy app. Then I cancelled it because of how long it was going to take and I could get it faster through PetSmart, well they claim they do not take the money until the order ships which is a lie and false advertising. In an email they basically said they don’t owe me because they don’t take the money, a lie, and when I told her if it takes from Saturday until Tuesday to get my money my dogs won’t be able to eat until then. She said “oh I’m sorry” chewy don’t give two s***s about animals. For one they lie and say they don’t take the money when in fact they do WAY before it ships. Then they keep your money until Monday and release it if you order in a weekend m. When I told the lady over the phone my dogs won’t be able to eat, you’d have thought I just stubbed my toe and she was being comforting. No we are talking about 2 dogs who will starve for 4 days now! This company is a joke and I’m calling my news station today to see if this is a story they may be interested in. If you say you don’t take the money until the item ships BUT LIE THROUGH YOUR TEETH, that should be illegal and I’m going to see what I can do about this! My dogs are going to starve for 4 days because of this piece of shit company! Maybe I can sue over this! I don’t know but I’m going to find out Monday. Over my dogs going without now for 4 days. If you can take the money out right now, you should be able to put the f’ing money back right now! I’ve never been so angry with a company that I wanted to shut them down, my dogs starving now since I, like many, are on a budget. Yeah I’m calling attorneys Monday morning 1st thing.
