I went to buy some new cat food yesterday from chewy.com and I did not have all the $$ I needed for it in the bank so I asked my husband to take the other cat food back we bought from Petco and put the $$ in the bank so I an buy the food I want to for my babies. Well he did that today so I went to check out and lo and behold, I see the cat food price has jumped from $32.00 to $37.00!!! Oh and the worst part about my experience with chewy.com was that when I went on chat to complain and see if they could or would fix it....it was as if the chat person had a cat get their tongue....I was furious. The customer service was horrible all the way around. I would have been a new customer but not like this. Not now, not ever. Some of my breeder friends are telling me that chewy was recently bought out by petco or petsmart. Bad move, chewy.

I orderd food do my dog and some toys on Friday. My order qualified for free 1-2 shipping. According to the website it would be here Monday. Monday came it did not show up. Tuesday came it still is not here. Every day when I check it will be here the next day. I called costumer service and was told it was FedEx's problem and they dont ship on Sunday or Monday. No where on the websit does it state this. Costumer service agent said it would be there at the lastest on Friday. To Chewy agent this was ok. I will have to go buy dog food before then. A week after I places my order. So disappointed.

i used to love this site.. when i ordered my kennel it came so fast, but recently i purchased a few things and the 1-2 day shipping is a joke! closer to a week. very disappointed and customer service doesn't even seem to care.

I'm very frustrated with this site. I made a purchase using promo codes and the first mistake was my own. My payment was declined because I typed the wrong expiration date for my card so I fixed it after I saw the email that said "respond in 24 hours or the order will be cancelled". I responded asking them to remove two items because I needed them asap and 24 hours had already passed, so I just purchased them in store. So they quoted me $57 new total. I said yes and asked them to put the order through only to be charged $71 and received an email saying that because my billing and shipping address were different my order was now on hold, I called and they said they would fix it. But then I check my card balance and I was charged another $13. They said this time that one item was shipped from a separate warehouse where they have separate shipping I guess. This has taken me 4 days to make a purchase and was charged $25 more than quoted that I have to wait 3 days to be returned (If they return it). I'm a professional dog trainer and was excited to have a site to make my regular purchases, fairly priced and recommend to my clients. But screw that. Use amazon, same prices less crap! I gave 2 stars because I got ahold of people quickly even though they aren't helping. And because my order once process was shipped same day,

They have 1-2 day shipping posted all over their website for items over $49 to be automatically applied at checkout (they don't give you a shipping option). Ordered a $79 item only to find out they shipped it via the slowest snail mail possible. It took over a week for my item to arrive long after it was expected ruining the surprise gift it was going to be. Checked their website but there was no fine print or reasoning for the delayed shipment. After calling their customer service they had no justification for the delayed shipping other than it had to ship from a certain location. Never mind the fact they didn't even send the item via 3 day shipping or anything other than basic flat rate. The only reason this isn't a 1 star is because they gave back $10 for the item I ordered. Still reported them to the better business bureau as they are completely dishonest in their advertising.

I ordered a product and opted for the free 1-2 day shipping only to find out it's 1-2 day shipping on their terms. I am not recieving what i purchased in the promised time, but 5 days later. Don't advertise a shipping range when it's double the time frame.

I haven't bought from Chewy--almost did, but didn't for a reason. Late this morning I added Purina's Fortiflora to the cart in addition to another item. A few hours later (it's 2:45 in the afternoon), I went back to the site, about to register for an account, to find that the price has changed from $25.00 a box to $27.99-- within hours!!! I called them up and was told that their prices do fluctuate to reflect the demands. Is this stock market or are we talking about the price of precious metals? I decided not to continue with my new account registration. Was going to use their first order discount. Without it, their prices aren't really better than Amazon or Ebay.

Ordered 3 days ago a small bottle of ear care drops 1.5oz for 14.00 for 4.95 shipping and the item still hasn't shipped. I understand its the holidays but I wouldn't have ordered it if I didn't need it. I paid early enough 3 days ago for it to of shipped out the same day. For 4.95 shipping it should already be here but FedEx says the label was printed but they still haven't even picked it up. What a joke!
