Chewy used to have excellent customer service if anything was delivered Damaged they would happily replace it now their new policy is if you receive something damaged they want you to ship it back to them what are you supposed to do in the interim with no cat litter or food they want to offer you a partial credit to go out and buy what you need it won’t cover the cost of the item and you are supposed to wait for chewy to ship you new litter food etc. that’s ridiculous I have never been asked that until they were bought out by petco what’s the point of using chewy if you are not only having to suddenly ship back damaged merchandise and while you wait for the new items to arrive you have to go out and buy the items you ordered again isn’t that what chewy is Famous for ? They claim the Can’t fix the problem if they don’t see the merchandise today I was supposed to receive litter fedex took it back claiming I told them it was damaged I never even saw fedex so now I have no litter and after 3 calls to chewy and a call to fedex no one can tell me who told the driver to take back my litter I have no litter chewy was useless And I have 6 cats and 3 litter boxes that hold 30lbs of litter each

You advertise free shipping on TV ad and that is extremely misleading, since one must buy at least $49.00 of your merchandise before receiving free shipping. If one doesn't buy the stated amount, your company charges an amount that doubles the cost. You need to update the misleading and unfactual statement referring to free shipping. Beverly McInnis

Their prices are exactly the same as other retailers, so there are no savings to be found here. They will indicate that you're getting a savings of whatever percent, but if you know the actual product, you'll know their claimed savings are 100% fabricated. Their prices are EXACTLY the same as other retailers. Sometimes, they manage to get things delivered within 2 days. Mostly, it's 3 - 4 days. There are other options. The only thing unique about Chewy is that they only sell pet products. I'm a little disappointed, truthfully. I spend between $150 - $250 a month (sometimes more) ordering through Chewy, and the shipping is still hit or miss in terms of delivery. I also don't like that it takes them up to 24 hours to send a tracking number. The online experience is supposed to be about convenience. Chewy isn't always the most convenient option.

Since petsmart has bought chewy.com, my sportsmix wholesome has went up in price by 8.00. Just in a month from changing over to petsmart. I guess I will start going to tractor supply again after being a loyal chewy. Com member. Chewy was the beat company till now. Petsmart is just money hungry. SO SAD!!

Ever since PetCo bought them out it has been a disaster. I even tried going back. Never again.

I was getting annoyed by Petco's high prices, so thought I'd check Chewy out. The same large bag of Royal Canin 7+ Indoor dry food was $10+ cheaper at Chewy. BUT... I would have had to order 3 large bags to meet the requirement for free shipping. Their TV advertising is VERY misleading. Just says "free shipping". I live in a small place. I barely have room for my own things, no less extra lg. bags of cat food. I have no need to buy other things in order to meet the $49 minimum for free shipping. Not a savings after all.

Honest opinion? Was great until acquired by PetSmart; now just seeing higher prices and getting excuses for them. No longer the company it was.

After shopping with Cheey.com, I discover my local pet shop sold the exact same product for LESS THAN HALF the price. To make matters worse Wal-Mart beat Chewy.com's price on our common dog food brand by almost 10 cents a pound... TV commercial is ABSOLUTELY FALSE. Don't order ANYTHING from these guys without comparing your local stores....
