I am not disagreeing with the other reviewers here as chewy does have great customer service however why are we reviewing customer service? Customer service obviously fixes order issues which believe me happens pretty much every time. In my last three orders alone I've had broken bags of cat food, busted open boxes of cat litter, a cat scratcher that arrived without the scratcher pad, phoned customer service and they sent a replacement - again missing the scratching pad. On my latest order the scratcher was missing completely! Customer service are polite and helpful at fixing things, but this is a warehouse based service which they have no control over. I hate giving bad reviews and don't take this as a deterrent, they have great prices and a large selection, though consider amazon price matches their pet food and provides free shipping at half the price of chewy's. Target stores are now matching the price of their cat litter.

Fluent friendly phone support doesn't offset Chewy's chronic systems and inventory failures. Given the hefty margins on dog food and Chewy's pet store equivalent prices, there has to be a better online solution available or on the way. I received a package, totaling over $150 and received 4/9 items I ordered!!!! I’m sorry, but never have I ever had such an experience when ordering ANYTHING.from ANYWHERE on the internet. Just a total lack of customer service. Not sure I’ll ever purchase from them again. Simply astonished.

Since PetSmart bought Chewy the prices went up $5/27lb bag of Zignature and the shipping times have failed. I ordered last week and still not have received my goods. It was the same with the previous order. You guys need to get it together or lose customers! My credit card was charged $117.13 on 28 Sept and still no product. I did receive a $25 credit for my inconvenience. OK, so this review has been rejected because it contained a copy of my chat and supposedly my CC# and tracking info. The tracking # was invalid so the products were likely never shipped. The previous order was the same only I called and complained. The products finally showed up on the 8 Oct. I can get a better deal locally so GOOD-BYE Amazon/PetSmart/ and Chewy.

I'm a real customer of Chewy.com I thought it was great that I could get my dog's food shipped to me and get a discount for participating in an autoship program. The problem is that more than 80% of my shipments have dented cans. While Customer Service reps are a joy to communicate with [as all customers know], this issue has not been resolved for over a year. They keep asking about the outer packaging. No, the product is damaged before it is shrink-wrapped and put into an outer box. The last 4 chat representatives have said they would "reach out" to shipping, then it was shipping/manufacturing. No results. Except two shipments ago when I got all dent-free cans! An anomaly!! One last try...I will call them.

absolutely love their prices and selection, but it ends there. Once you hit "place order" the excitement of saving money is over. It will never be delivered to your door, even if that's the most convenient place, it still won't make it there. I have a driveway and sidewalk that leads straight to my front door, nope instead I find my boxes somewhere in the driveway and they are ALWAYS smashed. They will not package your order in a way that makes sense. Big items smash everything else. I had cat vitamins that were literally powder from being smashed so much. Chewy will replace the items, but it's every single time! Petco delivers to my door and nothing is ever destroyed! Chewy acts like this is no big deal. Flea preventive came flat as a pancake! My boxes are never even taped closed because they're so destroyed upon delivery. Needless to say I had to switch to petco.

I bought a bottle of nature miracle (pet block), did not work at all. My dog peed even more, even on the pet block. I was not happy about it. I will not order from them again.

I ordered the pumice stone to remove dog hair off of my couch. I tracked the package and it said delivered and I never got it. Not a big deal. I call them and they immediately send me a replacement but they don’t confirm my address so i have to call back to confirm with someone else. Then I track the package once again and it says delivered but I still haven’t gotten it. I requested a refund and they gladly gave it to me. Their customer service really is great but I am frustrated that I haven’t received this product. I have family visiting and the vacuum just isn’t getting the hair off the material and I’ve heard nothing but good stuff about chewey. I am not sure if that’s cheweys fault or the mailing systems fault but I’m disappointed that I never received this product. I haven’t had any issue with any other company with this address so i truly am confused on what’s going on.
