I don't understand why and HOW the cans of dog food I get are all dented. The cans on the outter edge of the case I can maybe understand getting dented during shipping but how do the ones in the inside row get dented? This last case came and it lots like someone threw them against the wall before they were packed. There is one that has both sides caved in. Is the reason there prices are so low because they are selling seconds/damaged produces. I wish I could post pictures here to show these damaged cans.

Just signed up for auto ship...Was supposed to get this product...did not happen,received 0 to 22 pound product for my service dog...they sent correct finally and partially refunded my money...I just got the rest refunded but NEVER AGAIN...canot count on them to get it right or make it right in a timely fashion.

I used Chewy for more than three years. They frequently delivered damaged product, which I reported. The most recent occurrence resulted in customer service telling me that I needed to contact them after each order to request that they package my shipment more carefully. Instead of fixing the issue, they expected me to do so.

Before my last two orders I would have given Chewy five stars. However, my last two autoship orders have been late by five to ten days. Chewy has been nice on the phone but here's my issue. Chewy is a logistics company. They don't produce anything, they just move product. Therefore when a problem with their logistics occurs they had better be good at fixing the problem. They aren't. I can't tell you how many times I heard, "We'll escalate this the our FedEx rep right away". Yet nothing happened... over and over again. Chewy didn't offer to send another shipment with a different carrier and apparently they have zero clout with FedEx (or Chewy was just shinning me on, how would I know?). The most amazing thing to me is they accepted the loss of my business, $200 every month on autoship, like it was nothing. Are their any small businesses that would like a $200/mo customer? Amazing. The people on the phone are great but the reality is Chewy is just another big company and you are just another number.

I ordered dog chews along with a bag of dog food. When they arrived, the chews were underneath the bag of dog food and were smashed into little pieces. It is too bad because the dogs love them. It is a pain that every time I feed them to my dogs, I have to try to piece together little bits that I think might be the size of a whole one. I'd recommend Chewy for the big bags of dog food, but not for things that might get crushed. Funny thing, when I tried to post this review on the Chewy.com site, it would not let me post it. I tried to post it several times and even attempted on different browsers. Do they not allow negative posts?

I’m joining the ranks of unhappy long time repeat customers in saying how bad Chewy has become. I have been a consistent repeat customer with 3-dogs and a cat. It seems that after you’ve been with Chewy for awhile they start using the worst shipping around (OnTrac). I was send a FedEx nbr but then the link was cancelled. I was told by Adrianna Chewy gave my package to Fedex who gave it to OnTrac. When the package was late I called back and got Adrianna again who now said Chewy gave it directly to OnTrac (yeah the OnTrac who never answers the phone and is unreliable—so much so Amazon won’t use them to my house). Then she said Chewy didn’t use FedEx because fedex had weather delays— there are NO WEATHER DELAYS BETWEEN GOODYEAR AZ and SAHUARITA AZ. when I said I would take my orders to PetSmart age was all Ok— which made me google IF YOU DIDNT KNOW PETSMART OWNS CHEWY!! There’s a reason the customer care is gone!!

I've been a customer of Chewy.com for 2 years. The service was wonderful for the first year. More recently though the shipments have arrived with damaged contents. The items- litter, cases of canned food, dry food- are tossed into a box with no filler and the litter bag isn't wrapped. I've now had 3 shipments with torn litter bags and messes from the litter dribbling out of the box. The litter is thrown on top of the cans and rips. I've also had the bags of dry food smashed from the cases of wet food. And I've had the cans smashed and leaking. Is some of this due to FedEx? Maybe. But when the litter bag isn't wrapped (I've seen other companies do this to prevent ripping) and there isn't any filler so the items roll around I have to mostly fault the Chewy shippers. Every time I have a damaged shipment, Chewy customer service promises that the next shipment will be packaged appropriately. Not so. I'd love to stick with Chewy as I know they are aware of their shipper problems and (maybe) trying to rectify the problems but there are other pet supply delivery companies.

I used to have a very high opinion of chewy.com. Their prices and service were great. However, I recently started having delivery problems with them. They have become very unreliable regarding their promised delivery dates. For example, I recently ordered an antibiotic from them and was told at the time of ordering that I would receive the medication on Saturday, but when Saturday came and went I was told I would not receive the medication until Tuesday. I asked Chewy to overnight the medication so I would have it before Tuesday and they said they could not do anything to help me. Hell, what do they care it’s not their dog. Unfortunately, this is not the only problem I have had with them regarding their servicing orders I placed with them. Low prices are great, but unreliable and bad service on getting orders to the customer and then leaving the customer hanging more than offset their low prices. In the past I would have rated them five stars, however, now I can only give them a two or a poor overall rating.
