Prices are ok but not worth the hassle of getting delivered by FEDEX. FEDEX is the worst. I'll just continue to deal with local shops over dealing with FEDEX.

Used to be excellent. But, Chewy only provides a 2 day notice they are auto shipping a repeat subscription. Now we have more per snack than are plausibly consumable, therefore a waste. I suggest this is a purposeful process to auto ship products for rapid and frequent revenue realization. I now have 3 cases of product of which some may go to waste. Chewy only offered to cancel my subscription, not offer a return authorization of the unopened box of product. The savings with Chewy are minimal, I’ll just click to buy from Amazon using my Prime account so that I get the free shipping without the auto or volume based Chewy requirements.

As a loyal customer, I am quite dissatisfied with their pharmacy services and don't recommend others to utilize this "service". They don't even know what they offer on the website and will just cancel your order without using common sense. When I ordered my dogs ear medicine, there were 2 size options, 1x 15 ml bottle or 2x 15 ml bottles to give you 30 ml in total. When I ordered the 30 ml, they emailed me back after days of holding funds from my account and not sending my dogs meds that she needs, claiming they don't have 30 ml available but they do have 15 ml and then they just straight up canceled the order. Maybe it's a new staff member or something but they lacked serious common sense and customer service abilities the way they've been handling this order. Not only did all this happen, but they also over charged my account and took extra funds without any documentation or notice of such transaction. When I called customer service to report the error, the lady had no clue how to explain the situation and just kept telling me the funds would "drop off" in a few days, whatever what means. Seriously considering canceling all my future orders with this company after this experience. I am 100% dissatisfied with this entire process.

My order was paid for and confirmed Friday evening with an email stating the heartworm medicine would be shipped Monday with a Wednesday delivery date. My dog is heartworm positive and her due date was Wednesday. As of Tuesday there was no communication from Chewy informing me of a delay and after two phone calls it still took an additional two days to ship. This was not acceptable for something so important and Chewy had no apologies for the situation. Never again will I use this site.

4 months of using Chewy, first 2 wonderful, 3rd my boxes were delivered soaking wet, very hard to lift 50 pound bags inside wet boxes. Decided that was a shipper issue, which is FedEX. Yesterday, arrived home to find my usual 2 boxes laying in my driveway. Had 4 boxes of Dentalife and 6 flats of canned dog food, per invoice, inside the boxes 4 boxes of Dentalife and 3 flats of canned food. The flats of dog food were cut free of their wrapping and thrown Loose into the box. Super hard to pick up heavy boxes with 36 cans bouncing around inside. Our order is 2 boxes of dental bones, 3 flats of canned and two 50 pound bags of dog food. The 50 pound bags of dog food were not included on either invoice and were not in the boxes. Called chewy this morning, the young lady that answered the phone said oh well you have more of your order coming tomorrow it all ships from the same place so I don’t know why. I tried several times to explain to her that they had double shift half of our order and not included the dry dog food. I explained to her that multiple cans had big dents in them from being thrown in the box and traveling from Florida to Mississippi. I guess she ghosted me I could hear her hitting a key on her computer she said nothing else for over 10 minutes I gave the phone to my husband who started yelling very loud to see if she was still there even though the timer on the phone said she was. She put us on hold, immediately called us back on the same number, we didn’t bump over to answer because we didn’t want to lose the call after 19 minutes on hold while thanks for calling played over and over thanks for calling chewy, finally they cut us off. My husband called them back and the lady said very rudly well I tried to call you back. She them told my husband to stop interrupting her so she could tell us what was shipped. She seemed not to understand, there is our order, the invoice, and the actual shipment are 3 different things. Chewy’s customer service is deplorable.

Up until Chewy moved away from FedEx for delivery, and onto OnTrac their service was great. I often received orders earlier than expected. Now with OnTrac the delivery has been inexplicably delayed for 2 days; and this is a special vet prescribed cat food. While perhaps not the company’s direct fault, they are the ones contracting new delivery service. This simply will not do, and I will need to abandon Chewy in favor of a reliable company moving forward.

I do like the convenience of having the delivery and lower cost. However I was very frustrated with whomever delivered my stuff . This is the first and only time I tried this service. They left two very heavy large boxes on the first floor of my apartment complex blocking the entrance. First off there are handicapped people who live on the first floor who were not able to get into their apartments without having some one move the boxes. Secondly I had to carry to very heavy boxes up two flights of stairs because the delivery guy could not be bothered to bring it to my door. Luckily I'm young and could manage. My issue is that its going against the advertising. The whole point of this company is so you don't have to carry heavy boxes of kitty litter food and cat towers up stairs.
