I started to place an order and got to log in and it asked for my password even though I was using the same computer and email I have for years. It did not accept the pass word so it was going to send a text with a code to my cell phone ,,,, it did not come so i punched send another code .... nothing - been ordering from them for years and once or twice had llttle issues but not as bad as this time. after a half hour of getting nowhere i looked for a customer service number and called it -- with the help of a jack hammer and forty minutes later I finally got my order and due to the fact hat none of these problems were my fault I suggested a decent discount . the rep said no problem.. now i said i should get 10-20% for the hour and a half I just wasted he offered $5 off a $140 order. in conclusion when I went off he gave me $10 THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS HIT THE BOTTOM.. I am going to be looking for another supplier KARL KOCHER NORRISTOWN PA 19403 i AM REALLY DIGUSTED WITH CHEWY

Chewy requires me to mail by snail mail the vet prescription instead of fax, email, text maybe? So then it's mailed to Kentucky. It takes them 10 days to acknowledge they got my prescription and it was mailed from Florida. Then FedEx decides to ship it on a Saturday, fully knowing this is an office address, I do not have a street mailbox only a PO Box so I use the office address. Of course they hold it over the weekend at a facility an hour away and then Monday comes its now 2pm, still no meds. The chat supervisor tries to blame me that I don't update the FedEx app Umm no honey, do your job, that's why I'm texting you. Your company has slacked enough! I have waited 3 weeks now for the medicine. So no I will not be doing business with them again!

Did not one time even answer the question I came to them for! Horribly disappointing!

Been an auto ship customer for probably 15 years. I'm not sure what has happened but I have had problems with my last three orders. I go out of town quite often. Normally when they say something will be delivered it's there on the day. They say my auto ship was supposed to be delivered three times on a certain date so I had people lined up to pick up the package but it never showed up. My auto ship order this time was supposed to be here on the 17th. It's every 9 weeks. I don't understand why they can't get it to me by the 17th and then when they ship it only half of the order comes and they don't even send a note or an email telling me the dog food is missing. They put whatever they want in the box without contacting me and if I'm short items nothing is said. It's easier to go to pet supplies Plus and pay the extra money. At least I'm guaranteed what's in my basket will make it home

I was a Chewy Canada customer 3 years ago. I use Chewy for cat litter auto-ship for a long time and it was good experience before I got a car and stop using their autoship. However, as I returned to Chewy today and place the autoship order, it was instantly cancelled "for protecting my account", while the money has been withdrawn from my credit card. The customer service lady was nice yet arrogant, cannot provide any means of compensation for this mishap, while I really need new cat litter to replace 3 days later. This is really bad for a business that's been running years in Ontario.

I work for a vet clinic. I get Chewy requests all day, every day, and three things stick out to me as consistent issues: 1: Chewy is actively lying to clients. They tell our clients that we haven't responded to their prescription requests, when in fact we have, often numerous times. This most frequently happens when we DENY an invalid prescription. It's pretty clear to me that Chewy just doesn’t want to deal with customers asking questions they aren't qualified to answer. 2: The other time Chewy frequently lies (and this happens every day) is when we deny a prescription, because we have ALREADY approved it, often days or even weeks previously. We often send this denial multiple times, for the same request. Don’t make people angry at their vet because YOU can't be bothered to manage your faxes. 3: Incessant junk requests when we deny. You faxing us umpty ump times won't change a denial if we cannot legally approve. At best Chewy is sketchy, at worst they're outright malicious and lying.

I am extremely disappointed with how Chewy has handled this situation. I ordered a vacuum from Chewy and NEVER received it. The original delivery photos show the vacuum being delivered to a DIFFERENT HOUSE. When I contacted Chewy about the problem, I was told that fedex had gone back to the incorrect address, picked up the vacuum, and then delivered it to my home. That did not happen. I have security camera footage from my home that shows the claimed delivery to my residence never occurred. Despite this, I am somehow still being held responsible for paying for a vacuum I never received. This is what makes the situation so frustrating: there is photographic evidence showing the original package at another house, and I have my own camera footage showing that the claimed subsequent delivery to my home did not occur. I disputed the charge with my credit card company because I did not receive the merchandise I purchased. Yet I am still apparently being held responsible for the charge. I am not asking for anything unreasonable. I simply should not have to pay for an expensive item that was never delivered to me. Chewy needs to investigate what actually happened with fedex rather than placing the financial responsibility on a customer who never received the merchandise. Based on how this has been handled, I cannot recommend purchasing expensive items from Chewy.

Absolutely horrible. Worst food company I’ve ever dealt with. Took out my money for subscription auto ship feed but NEVER sent my order. Glad my bank made them reimburse me and stopped all payments to them going forward. I was even disconnected on chat by a representative because she couldn’t simply take accountability and make it right. Wrote the BBB they still deny it’s their fault. Worthless!!
