I have been a very satisfied customer of Chewy for the past few years, having ordered mostly food and meds for my dog, Calypso. Recently, she passed away and I called customer service to stop the auto-ship. Even though I had received the shipment a few days earlier, they kindly offered their condolences and offered to credit the cost of the meds back onto my credit card. A couple days later, much to my shock and surprise a box of a dozen beautiful long stemmed roses showed up with a very touching card from them expressing their condolences. I have yet to come across a business that actually offers such care & compassion of their customers. This, without being asked for anything other than to stop an auto ship order. Thank you Chewy for caring for the very customers (well, their caretakers) at such a difficult time. When the time is right, I will once again be a loyal customer and in the meantime, tell everyone I come across about how your kindness and care made the world seem a little bit nicer that day.

I contacted Chewy to cancel my autoship as our dog died yesterday. They were so sincerely kind, and gave me a refund for food we still had on hand at home. Such an unexpected and decent gesture. I have always found the phone personnel to be really wonderful to deal with. I will definitely be back.

I called Chewy’s to cancel my auto ship food and medication because my dog passed away. They refunded my money and told me to donate the food. Today, arrived a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Thank you. It made my day and lifted my heart. I will be a returning customer once I am ready to add another sweet angle.

Chewy’s will forever have my business. Last week I called to cancel an auto order after my beloved Coby passed and they gave me a full refund. The food still came, free of charge. I’ll be donating that to the local shelter. Today, I come home to a bouquet from them, in condolence of my Baby Boy. It meant the world to me. What a way to care for your customer. They will exclusively get my business from here on out. ❤️

My beloved dog died unexpectedly in her sleep— right after I had ordered her a new dog bed from Chewy. I called and asked about cancelling my order but it had been shipped. I offered to send it back because I never even opened the box. They were very kind and explained but they could not take it back because of the pandemic. They refunded my money anyway and told me to give the bed—an over $100 value— to a local shelter in memory of my dog. Then today a floral arrangement featuring yellow roses arrive from Chewy with a sweet note of comfort. I have cats and support several animal shelters and rescues. Chewy will be getting all my business going forward. God bless you for your kindness!

My dog passed recently and I had purchased supplements and medication from chewy that was never got to use. They are amazing to deal with they gave me a refund plus sent me flowers with a note. I highly recommend doing business with them.

This company is fantastic to deal with for all of my pet products. Customer service is friendly and eager to assist with any problems that arise. Recommend this company.

Love Chewy.. I use the auto ship, but go in and have it sent as I need it.. so haven’t had to rely on auto ship but get the discounted price anyway. I have had wonderful customer service, if something was left out of my order or even when my dog didn’t like something. The item was sent no questions asked, and I was reimbursed for the item she didn’t like and told to give the rest away. I posted a photo of my girl on my profile, and the day before my birthday two years ago.. they sent me a small painting of my pet as a thank you for being a repeat customer. I love that they stand behind their products and go the extra mile. Most shipments arrive in two days, but with some of the challenges in the states right now.. a delay is acceptable. The fires have caused delays for me from other retailers as have the pandemic.. I always try to give an extra week for these delays for items like dog food and meds.
