I love Chewy...I had a coupon but it was only applicable to first time orders, I called customer service and they still gave me 15% off!! (Less than the coupon but still something instead of nothing). I also returned some dog food since I was changing brands when the food already arrived and they refunded me and even gave me a free shipping waiver to order new food!!

I recently order medicine from chewy.com for my kitten. Unfortunately before the medicine could arrive my kitten passed away. The rep was so nice and caring, not only did chewy refund my order but they waved the delivery fee for the product that I still had that was going to be delivered. Two days later I received flower from chewy with condolences about my kitten. This company can teach a thing or two about customer services to or their company

I never go out of my way to leave a review, but this company has shown me over and over again what exceptional customer service looks like. My 4yo dog passed away very unexpectedly and we had just received an auto ship order. Chewy refunded the entire order (including food for my other dog) and told us to donate it to a shelter in my pup's name. On top of that they sent a personalized card and bouquet of flowers. Never have I ever had such good customer service that I actually cried. Then most recently I had ordered a sweater that didn't fit and I wanted to exchange it. They no longer had the right size in stock and refunded it and told me to donate that to a shelter as well.

Chewy is a real class act. We were not frequent customers, but we sure will be from this point forward. Recently, I make my first purchase and ordered from Chewy several hundred dollars of medications and supplements for our elderly and sick dog. Before we received the shipments days later, my wife made the agonizing decision to save our beloved dog from further suffering. Several days after the packages arrived, my wife called Chewy to ask about any return policy under the circumstances. Remarkably, Chewy's customer service representative advised my wife that there was no need to return the products. She told my wife that our account would be credited the full amount of the purchase, and we should donate the products to a shelter or other place that would give us peace. That was just awesome, and it reflects the generous and compassionate heart of this Corporate Citizen. But wait; there is more. The other day I looked outside the front door and there was a box addressed to my wife. She opened the box and, to her delight, there was a dozen beautiful, long-stem roses and a card from Chewy sending condolences for the loss of our cherished dog. That is just priceless. I applaud Chewy. It expected nothing and Chewy did so much. Certainly, Chewy is invested in the smallest customer it serves. That is truly special in this day and age. Thank you, Chewy.

Sadly I had to return some items that didn’t work out for us so I contacted customer service to discuss my options. To my surprise they told me I could donate my items to a local shelter vs sending items back. This is truly a testament to how great this company is and how they honestly care about pets. This was my first time shopping with chewy but I can assure you they have a customer for life!

Chewy.com is excellent. I have been ordering dog food and supplies for years. In the couple of incidents over the years where something arrived damaged, their customer service was fantastic.
