Food arrived well packed; product was exactly what I ordered. Having driven 1,100 miles with "just enough" food to arrive at my destination, I was impressed that I was going to receive my order in one day. It did not, and I was forced to go out, locate and buy an inferior product to tide my Cavaliers over until the shipment DID arrive.

I ordered by mail because I Am elderly and have trouble carrying a large bag of dogfood. i needed Fed Ex to bring the food to my apartment. They left it in the office with no notice on my apt door and i had to carry it anyway. Is there anyway to get Fed Ex to call me to let me know what time they will deliver to my door? If not, I might as well go to PetSmart.

I waited forever for the dog food. I ordered it on June 29 and received it on July 7. For 3 days it said it was "out for delivery" a mile from my house. Then I receive the boxes and they're completely smashed, which ripped one of the bags so now I have an entire box full of loose food.

I got my order in 2 days with no extra charge-awesome! Unfortunately, the box the food & treats were shipped in was pretty much crushed on arrival (which didn't signal good things for the contents)-and unfortunately the boxes of treats were similarly crushed and the bag of dog food had a puncture in it. So I'm mixed on whether I'd order again from them -shipping heavy weight dog food/treats is always difficult, but some places definitely seem to do better on the packaging than others. If Mr. Chewy could improve delivery, I'd definitely make them a go-to because their quick service & shipping time separates them from the rest --but at the moment, I'd rather slower speed to receive items that aren't damaged.

Dear concerend, One thing I found odd was that I did not get a confirmation email after I placed the order. I did get a confirmation number at time of check out, but I believe industry standard for on line ordering ~ you normally get an email with details of the order and the confirmation number (Kind of a summary) right after your transaction. Other than that - things went well.

I purchased from MrChewys.com after inquiring about the lead time on the order - 4 business days - and then was pleased to find out from FedEx tracking that they were looking at 2-3 days when the shipment was received at FedEx. HOWEVER, FedEx then left the shipment in limbo and its no where to be found - so much for tracking info. Perhaps MrChewys should re-evaluate their shippers and use another carrier. This was my first order with them and I'm having to make a run to a local food store in order to replace the order I already paid for. Of course, MrChewys will replace the order - another 4 business days lead time and with of course FedEx again. I'm not sure wether or not I wish to even try again. It seemed like a great convenience and savings but perhaps too good to be true IS.
