This would be a good company, except for one big reason as far as I am concerned. When I have food delivered for my cats, instead of leaving it at my door, they put it in the lobby of my apartment building. I live on the second floor. I have emphysema and it is really hard for me to go up the stairs with even a few pounds of groceries. There is no way I can go up stairs with 20 pounds of cat food without having to recover From shortness of breath for quite a while. If you are paying for a delivery service, it seems they should leave the product in front of your door.

Tried to order a dog door in a size large normal height. They sent us a size medium extra tall. Then when we called them and asked for the right door they went through the process to "guarantee" they got us the right door. Well the door arrived and again, it's a medium extra tall. They can't even deliver on a guarantee. The wait times on calls is really good though. The customer service people are kind and considerate.

I have a monthly subscription for 2 cases of cat food. The product is fine. However, OnTrac, the delivery service Chewy uses, has ignored the written instruction on the shipping label to deliver the 30 pound box to my front porch - for the fourth and final time. Instead, the box was left at the curb, which is about 250 feet from the house, and not visible from the house. I only know the box has been delivered because I get an email notification. In addition, I'm 76 years old, and unable to carry the box back to the house. So I have to get out the car and drive to the mailbox and back. All Customer Service can say is how sorry they are that I've had this experience. I have canceled my longstanding monthly subscription service.

I was a Chewy customer. Now, that you have joined the political side and the cancel culture movement, I have cancelled shopping and supporting your store and chewy products.

I chose this for the convenience and it was anything but. My order was split up into many separate deliveries, so I got several emails, some of them multiple times for the same part of the order, so that was confusing. A single patch, no bigger than a stick of gum, arrived on its own, in a giant otherwise empty cardboard box with no receipt and no paperwork. It was stuck inside the folds of the ridiculously oversized box, and was almost lost. The thing I needed most (the food) has taken over a week to arrive and I received no update on it until it was already 2 days late. I called customer service and she had the wrong information, and difficulty understanding my crazy split up (not by me) order as well. She wasn't apologetic in any way. She was extremely monotone and uninterested. I asked for a refund and she told me if it wasn't there by the end of today to call back. If it's here today, I won't ask for a refund, but I won't be using the site anymore. If it's not here today, I want my money back because I still have to buy dog food.

I am on a biweekly autoship which consits of several large bags of dry food, several cases of wet food, litter and treats. Well, I have been getting this for about 6 months now and have not gotten one autoship that was not damaged. Customer service has been great at replacing the damaged good but even then some of the items show up damaged. The warehouse needs to get it together and either make smaller packages or use packing material to keep stuff from being damaged.

They’ve changed the edit order policy. Without the ability to edit your order the 100% customer satisfaction guarantee is no longer real. I’ve canceled all future orders and will never shop on this site again.

I am so done with this company and their useless and uncaring support staff. I have ordered 4x since November and each order has a problem. I have had missing items, items that just never show up, and 3 out of 4 of the orders they give me tracking and delivery dates and yet the package never actually ships, it sits in AZ past the delivery date. They tell me I can get a refund or a new order shipped but I have to wait for 5-days past the delivery date to do that.. and then I call 5-days past and they say one week, so 2-days later I try again and they say it's 2-weeks. I am so done! Good luck, it's like gambling in Vegas, every order here is in the house's favor. I did give them 2-starts instead of just one as they did have good prices and selection, but it means nothing if they don't ship.
