I have always liked chewy but my last order did not get delivered. It was very inconvenient as it was something I needed for weekend. The customer service was horrible over this and offered to reorder which is fine but offered no apology or compensation or even offered to expedite the new order! Very disappointed in the customer service and how this was handled.

Although Chewy was recommended to me I would not recommend it to others. I tried to order dog food and instead of arriving when they said,it took over a week. Now I try to have my dogs prescription sent to Chewy and it is out of stock. Not going here again.

it used to be a good store
it used to be a good store. but now .... delivery can be 4 days ... before 1-2 days was. My dog does not want to eat canned food, apparently the storage conditions were not met and it deteriorated. looking for a new store for my dog ...

They are always significantly behind schedule on shipping, so much so that they should begin to compensate for the terribly late deliveries. It is a matter of poor logistics and lackluster protocol.

Their customer service used to be top notch but the last few times I've needed to talk to someone about changes to my account it's been a nightmare. I thought if I called direct instead of the live chat I would get better results; nope! I was disconnected after being placed on hold twice! I then tried contacting them via live chat. It took 3 separate chats to try and get my account updated. Basically, they don't listen to you and I feel they are working several chats at the same time because the pause in between responses seems to go on forever. I literally have to respond with, "Hello?" over and over to get a response. I'm just about to use a different online pet pharmacy.

Frustrating run-around with Chewy
It sounds like Chewy's pharmacy is really screwing up lately, looking at the recent reviews. My experience with Chewy was also frustrating and stressful. Customer service representatives are nice, and trying to help, but ultimately several phone calls and several weeks later and I still am unable to get an order processed. I have three prescriptions for my dog. I mailed my prescriptions in following instructions given to me by a Chewy rep. My orders have had multiple issues over the past several weeks since I submitted them, being cancelled and delayed. I have talked to at least 4 different customer service representatives, and even called the pharmacy directly once responding to a voicemail. On one of those times, a rep walked me through ensuring my order was placed correctly, and confirmed that the prescriptions were on file and the order was 100% ready to go. However it was cancelled AGAIN. I had to call AGAIN and this time, the rep tells me that the pharmacy supposedly never received my prescriptions. It says on my account that the prescriptions were successfully added to the medicine! And on previous calls customer service reps verified that the prescriptions were on my account! The pharmacy then suggested that I get new prescriptions, and then take them to a walmart or a cvs and ask them to fax them to chewy on my behalf! This was such an odd suggestion that I pushed back and asked why would a human pharmacy do this service for me, the rep put me on hold for the fourth time to ask the pharmacy what they meant and came back and told me actually I needed to take my prescriptions to a walmart and have them mail them for me on my behalf. However I needed to call ahead and ensure they did that service. I'm certain if I call walmart and ask this they will have no idea what I'm talking about- why would they do this service? Regardless, this is a ridiculous run around and still doesn't explain why it took over two months and several calls (I am OUT of my dog's medicine now) for ANYONE at Chewy to inform me that they supposedly did not receive my prescriptions even after MULTIPLE calls with different service representatives told me the complete opposite and it appears clearly on my account that they have my prescriptions! Chewy, something is wrong with your system or the way your online ordering is set up, but I am not going to continue as a Chewy customer if every order is as stressful and frustrating as this as been! It's absurd how non-functional their communication/record system has been. Will check out other options for future orders, maybe the 1-800 pet meds will be better.

Having a ton of problems with the…
Having a ton of problems with the pharmacy side of Chewy. Medications listed as available and they let you pay for them only to be informed days later they are out of stock and the order will be canceled. You cannot keep them on backorder and you have to hope Chewy lets you know when they are back in stock, which they will not do. This is the 2nd time in three months Chewy has dropped the ball. Last time they gave me a $15.00 coupon to use but the code did not work and it took forever to get that straightened out. I never had a problem with the pharmacy before the beginning of this year, did they change pharmacies or get bought out? Nothing is more frustrating when you are frustrated than a generic e-mail trying to be cute.
The only saving grace for Chewy is a manager I spoke to this morning, Jackie Carter, I was about to fly off the handle and she was able to get me taken care of and I really felt that she was as frustrated as I was at the situation and was not going to hang up until I was taken care of. I will be using 1800 Pet Meds for all my prescriptions once I finally get my prescriptions shipped from Chewy, it is an absolute debacle every time.
This review also has nothing to do with the My Pillow saga, I am glad they got rid of those pillows and the train wreck of the guy that sells them! ;)

I did not have a positive experience…
I did not have a positive experience with Chewy.com I needed Lysine cat treats due to the fact that none of my local area vets sell these Lysine Treats and some vets won’t sell them to you if you are not a patient of that practice. So I went as a last resort to Chewy. Very disappointed hard bites and was afraid would break my cats teeth. I proceeded to cut the bites in half to prevent a tooth issue. I called Chewy told them what happened. Today I received another package and again the same issue! Too hard for cats to chew! My cat has some respiratory issue and these Lysine treats are great as I bought them locally in the past. Chewy lost my business. Can’t recommend them in good conscience to anyone.
