Chewy.comReviews of chewy.com

excellent service for people who are unable to carry those heavy kitty litter bags; delivery was quick; the delivery person happily put the 2 boxes (of 4 -18 lbs bags) in my garage; good thing I was home, otherwise, I would have been carrying those boxes down to the basement myself ! yikes, that would have defeated the purpose of paying the higher price for the litter; I disliked breaking the boxes down then putting them in my already full recycle bin. all in all, I felt it wasn't worth paying extra ; it wasn't convenient after-all since I still had to unpack the litter bags, break down the boxes, store them, then worry about the possibility that I wouldn't be home at the next scheduled delivery and have to carry those 4 heavy bags down to my basement from my front door. Price? double compared to what I can purchase at Pet Smart. I am not even sure the brand I bought works as well as the brand I am currently using.

I'm not sure if it's a postal issue or a packing issue or both, but my package arrived completely destroyed and open. I don't think that the box was sealed properly prior to delivery, nor was it weighted correctly in order to avoid issues en route (filler paper was at the bottom of the box, and the food was at the top by the box opening). I may order again, but would be worried about ordering loose items that could fall out.

My overall experience was good when shopping at chewy.com. I got my items quickly and the prices were good however one of the items I purchased was sliced open in the bottom so I had to put them in a different bag to keep them fresh. Also, the box sent was huge and had a ton of shipping paper in it. Really could get some smaller boxes for the food that don't require an entire garbage bag of shipping paper in it.

Order was easy to place and was followed up on quickly. Company confirming order s a safety was very nice. Order arrived quickly and that ie where the fun stopped. Unpacking the order showed it was handled very poorly. Many cans are dented some almost in half.

I really appreciated the promptness of the shipment. The pricing was attractive until I saw that the can on the website was a 14 oz can and the product, with a new label and reformulation of contents, was 13.2 oz. This was misleading; the web site illustration should be corrected and the new formula noted. Nonetheless, the cats are enjoying their new PetGuard Fish, Chicken and Liver.

I was really excited about the dog food that I found on Chewy. It was the same product I used to buy from the feed store in another state. It was on sale for a great price! I was told it would be here by Weds. and it's Sat. morning already and it's still not here. I just checked online and found out that it was delivered to the office on the opposite side of my huge apt. complex and has been sitting there since Thurs! I specifically asked how it would be shipped and ordered it BECAUSE it came FedEx and NOT USPS, because I did not want it to be sent to the office because it didn't fit into the tiny USPS boxes in the apt. complex. I was home all day Thurs. so I have no idea why it got sent to the office instead of where I was waiting for it at. Very frustrating.

I was disappointed that the antlers split so easily. My puppy swallowed too much and was ill until she had loose stools and threw up several times. When the shards came out she settled down.

Immediate delivery of everything I ordered, but the box was full of bugs...a combo of baby crickets and roaches! So far, it doesn't appear that any of the food has bugs inside. I think they need to re-examine their shipping containers and how they are stored. However, I will give them another go...I hope it was just a one-time-event.
