I've used Chewy for a few years not because of the couple of $$ savings, but our dog needs prescription food only, and the closest seller is over 100 miles away. Twice I've had issues with Chewy getting the dog food. On 12/20/15 I placed an order. Between then and now I've chatted and talked to Chewy about my order at least 6 times, I've explained I'm running out of food, and more than once I was told the order would be coming. Last week I ran out of food and made the 100 mile trip to get some. I called today and was told order was not shipped yet, and they put the blame on Royal Canin having problems. My concern was that Chewy should have been keeping me informed of the the shipping problem. Instead, I was given false hope the food was being shipped.

I was charged for product I did not receive. The customer service will tell you differently. Get your product directly. Do NOT get scammed by this company!

My dog is in a very strict diet because of her allergies, they recommended chewy.com because they would be a little cheaper and deliver the food within 48hrs. What a disappointment when the food that I ordered gets delivered within 3 or 4 days. My disappointment became a "Im getting mad" when they sent me an email the same day they supposed to deliver the food saying they out of stock and they would deliver the food in two weeks. In the meanwhile, I have to go the vet and get there another bag becuase I cannot feed my dog with other food. I think I will take my business to other place now.

Our animal clinic placed an order for the pet odor candles and scented sprays. The shipment came two weeks later in a banged up, ripped box. When opened, we found 2 of the candles loose, not wrapped in anything, and completely shattered. There was glass all over the bottom of the box. The one candle that was wrapped was STILL dented up. All of the spray cans had big dents and scratches on them and the caps were off. The whole thing was totally unacceptable! Very, very disappointment and will now be ordering from another website.

HORRIBLE customer service. Lgged in to my account and it showed no order history, no saved addresses, etc. even though I have received two orders. Did online chat and it was one of the MOST FRUSTRATING experiences I have ever had --- and I shop online A LOT. I had to ask the same questions over and over and provide the same answers over and over. I clearly stated upfront what the problem was yet "Jazmin" wrote that she could see the information. Well, goodie for you, but I couldn't...still can't! At least I got them to cancel the autoship orders and send me a transcript of the account billing...after three requests. The good thing is that they have a great variety of per food and supplies at reasonable prices, but I would rather PAY MORE and not deal with idiots!

I decided to use chewy after reading reviews and hear from their clients (I work at a vet's office). My dog is on a hypoallergenic diet by Royal Canin and he reacts to any other diets. The first order apparently, my vet didn't send his approval right away. That was understandable since I know that vet's offices get busy. However most companies will send a reminder to the vet if they don't call back next day. No one followed up on my order until I called them a week and half later. They apologized and refunded me the money but sent me the bag of the food. I had make a trip to my dog's vets to get the food, which was awkward since I had been fired from there recently. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try them again. This time they had an issue since on the first approval my vet didn't put down refills. It would've taken 2 seconds to call me , or call the vet, send them another request. But they didn't! I called them today and the excuse they gave me is that the company has grown exponentially and they are un-able to keep up with the orders. They tried to bribe me off by refunding me back 50% of the price. When I explain how allergic my dog was to most proteins, and asked if they would cover the bill of my dog got sick from eating regular dog food, they refunded me the full amount. What good will that do me. Now my dogs are hungry and I will have to figure out what to do for tommorow. They shouldn't make promises they can't keep.

Unfortunately my dog is allergic to meat so he needs to be on a special dog food by Purina that has such a small percent of noticeable protein that his body won't react to it. No pet stores carry it but online pet stores do. (I only know this after a million vet visits) The first thing that set me off about this company is that they required a prescription for this food. This food is supposed to be healthy to any dog so why should I need a prescription for it?! So this delayed my first shipment of the product. Once I got my first bag I kept track of how long it lasted so I could go onto autoship. What a mistake that was. The auto ship was due to arrive the day my dog was going to run out. (Mind you I live in a small apartment so storing 50lb bags isn't what I'm set up to do) I got the notice informing me my package was coming a few days before it was set to ship out. When the shipment day came, which is only a couple days before my dog was due to run out of food- they informed me that have discontinued selling that dog food. So basically I had no notice my dogs food was discontinued. Everyone knows what happens when you change a brand of dog food over night. Lets think about what happens when you change a vegetarians diet to a carnivorous diet over night! And to top it off lets think of that carnivorous diet as being an allergen to your pup! I have diarrhea all over my house at 2 in the morning thanks to this company. Thankyou poopey.com

I do mot know how these people do business but they accepted a card twice that was used illegally. Now I have to cancel my card. What a pain
