I bought "taste of the wild" grain free cat and dog food from this site. I have bought this food before for my pets, with no issues. My 2 dogs and one cat reactive poorly to their food, that I had to throw it out.Not trusting online products any more. I now buy Blue from a pet store for now on'

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, LATE DELIVERIES
Chewy.com has lousy customer service and they routinely have extremely slow shipping. The company also does NOT stand by their customer satisfaction guarantee. Good luck if you seek a refund after a bad order.

Disingenuous with reference to crediting account due to poor service.
AS someone posted before;when they are good;they are good ;but when they are bad;they are very bad!I have placed many orders in the past.I placed another order at the start of October with the most important supplement being most important due to ill cats.I was not informed that it would take a week when I placed the order instead of the usual 1-2 days. For that vital item; if I had known that when I placed the order I would not have ordered it as I would have gone to Bark that sells similar products but wasn't opened late on weekends. When I complained I was told that I would be credited the cost of that item. When I wasn't credited I called back and they said that it would take a few more days. Why it would take so long with today's instantaneous technology;should have been a red flag.Fifteen days later;still no credit so I called them back. They said that they did and that I would have to call my bank!Really;with the too numerous to count credits that I have received over many years with numerous vendors; have never heard of such nonsense.NEVER.In brief;BEWARE if you have a problem.Do NOT waist time expecting them to rectify your problem quickly nor if you need an item quickly..They knew that this product came from their warehouse further away from me so they should have provided expedient delivery since they didn't warn me if Customer Service was important to them.MOST important was that this was for my ill fury felines!

When They Are Good They Are Very Very Good, When They Are Bad . . .
I normally had pretty good experiences with Chewy, but my latest experience may cost my dog and/or myself our lives and it really sucks to have to die because of poor processing on Chewy's part.
Long story short, I was recently injured and need to have knee surgery which will sideline me for several weeks to as much as two months, during which time I won't be able to lift anything heavy like bags or cases of dog food. My dog is suffering from Stage 2 Kidney Disease, and I need to switch her to a new prescription food, and I have limited income especially while out with this knee injury, so I needed to economically stock up on dog food prior to my surgery.
I placed an order on a Wednesday - even called before ordering to make sure that if I ordered on Wednesday I could receive my order by Saturday, as I'm having my surgery on Monday. Because the food is prescription, Chewy had to call my vet, which the sales person promised she would do - incidentally the web site didn't have me enter any prescription or vet info when I placed the order, which I was told would happen when I placed the order online - wrong. The sales person said they called someone, but my vets checked the next day (after I saw my order still hadn't been processed) and they hadn't received any call from them. I called Chewy again and they called the vet on Thursday morning (and promised again that I'd receive the order by Saturday) and got immediate approval for the food.
Thursday I don't see any movement at all in the order status, so I call again, and again. Each time I'm promised it's going to be shipped in time, but nothing is changing in the processing. Finally I tell them to cancel the order and the impacts that may result - like my dog progressing to Stage 3 Kidney disease or dying because I can't lift anything heavy for up to two months - meaning no prescription dog food for her - or me risking my own health and blood clots in my leg to drive two hours to get the food from the vet, because that's how far away they are (an hour each way), and half a tank's gas expense because of the distance, which I can't afford - let alone all the time wasted on the phone with them, and now driving a couple of hours and trying to schlep 40 pounds of dog food into and out of my car with a busted knee and messed up leg.
They escalated things to a manager, but wasted more of my time and theirs on more mess and nonsense. They said they'd ship the food overnight and it would get to me by Saturday, but it didn't leave until Friday night and they shipped it for WEEKDAY delivery. Unbelievable lies and/or incompetence - why waste my time and yours promising Saturday delivery, when you actually SENT it for Weekday delivery Chewy!?!?!?!?!
I'm now faced with deciding whether to let my dog's health decline by not having the prescription food for a couple of months, or risk my own health by driving 2+ hours to pick up food from the vet's.
Thanks for playing roulette with both our lives Chewy (NOT!) After thousands of dollars of spend over the years, we're done with you - maybe permanently anyways if one of us doesn't make it through this traumatic time. And don't think we don't know that your stuff gets shipped through Amazon and other parties - we won't be ordering anything through them that could be shipped from Chewy either.
If you're okay with questionable delivery times and extended follow up times for prescription medicine (as in YOU will have to call them and get on them to follow up on prescription processing) Chewy is probably okay. If you need something within any timeframe though, and your pet's or your own life is hanging in the balance, don't rely on Chewy for anything other than extended waste of your time, and promises they don't keep.

Fraud!!!!
Keeps taking out of my bank account after they said they would put it back on my account. They made me negative over a hundred dollars now because of this. I don't have a auto ship or anything like that set up, I don't recommend this company what so ever now and I have had more problems then within the company then I would wish on anyone.
Foster and smith is much better

Sent auto ship twice within 6 days. Still waiting for refund 3 weeks later....
I ordered $175 on my auto ship and 6 days later it shipped again charging me again! I do not need $345 worth of dog food nor did I order this much. I have contacted Chewy twice and been told that they were processing the refund. I still have not received it and it has been 3 weeks now!
I'll never purchase from them using auto ship again. What a hassle!

Not 1 to 2 day shipping.
Ordered dog food which came to $44 but needed to spend $49 to get free 1 to 2 day shipping. So I spent a little more, and to my surprise when I looked at the email, anyway that it would be a week not the 2 day as promised. I had to buy another bag of food locally.
