If I could give them 10 stars, I would. We have been customers since our oldest cat was a kitten. He has inflammatory bowel disease and has to be on a novel protein diet. He is also exceptionally picky. Whenever we try a new wet food with him (rabbit, duck, lamb, etc..) if he doesn’t like it, Chewy tells us to donate the food and they refund our account. What more can you ask for? We have an auto ship delivery of his prescription dry food. We got notice from Fed/ex that it was delivered. Either it wasn’t delivered or someone stole our cat’s food in the hour we were away (who steals cat food), but when I called chewy to tell them, they immediately sent out another bag! We are Chewy customers for life!

FedEx never notified me that Rascal's prescriptions had bee delivered so they sat out in the Arizona summer heat for three days. I called customer service and spoke to a pharmacist to see if they were still safe to give. Sean emailed a return label and will be shipping replacements tomorrow. He also said he would add "signature required" to future orders. Chewy is WONDERFUL! I can't recommend them highly enough!

I'm new to Chewy.com. Placed an order for dry dog food for a small senior dog. The food was delivered quickly and I received email order acknowlegement, shipping notice and delivery notice. But I ordered the wrong size food. I wanted a small bite of Nutro because my 13lb dog inhales food. The food delivered was a larger piece. After 5 days, received an email about "How'd we do?" It was a Saturday morning. I called the customer service number. A rep answered the call on the 3rd ring. They spoke clear English and was happy to tell me donate the 15lb bag of food that was delivered. They shipped me a 30lb bag of food that was the small bite size and refunded my original purchase. The new bag of food arrived Sunday morning via Fedex. Applause! That's great service & logistics. Greg Cleveland, OH

I’ve only been using Chewy for a few months and boy do I regret not using it sooner! During those few months I have always had prompt responses and very friendly interactions with helpful customer service representatives on the phone. A couple of weeks ago my beautiful little 15 y/o yorkie-poo Sammy passed away of kidney disease. We had been trying to manage it for a while but sadly there was nothing more that could be done. I had some extra unopened food so I opened a chat with a customer service representative to see if I could return it. In my state of mind I had forgotten about that chat and when I finally remembered hours later, I found her response. "I'm sorry to hear your Sammy has crossed the rainbow bridge. I'm happy to help with a return. .Just a moment please while I pull the order up. I've processed a refund of $76.15 to your ApplePay in 3-5 business days. No need to send the item back this time. Chewy loves to paw it forward, and we'd love it if you would donate it to a local shelter or rescue, or to anyone who could use it in Sammy's name. We can understand that these events take time to move on from and we're here to listen to you and help any way we can. I'm sending you some extra love, peace and strength today, and for any day you should need it." This was so sweet! I appreciate the quick response, the immediate refund and the fact that Chewy has asked me to donate it! I was so happy to hear this as Sammy was such a sweet, gentle, affectionate little boy and if he was a person he would have absolutely wanted the food to be donated. I ended up donating it to Gilbert Veterinary Hospital in Gilbert AZ which was Sammy’s vet that took care of hin until the end. This was such an amazing gesture and says a lot about the leadership of this company. But what shocked me even more was the bouquet of flowers I received two days later with a sweet note from the customer service representative who assisted me. This blew my mind and brought tears to my eyes. The warmth and compassion expressed from Chewy has truly been incredible. I will DEFINETELY recommend Chewy to everyone I know and will absolutely be using Chewy when the time comes to get another dog. A VERY BIG THANK YOU!

Ordered from Chewy twice, both with prescription needed from vets. After the vets gave authorization, the items were typically shipped out within 1-2 days, and then the packages would arrive the next day. I called about my most recent order to cancel an item due to miscommunication with my vet. Customer service was great and they were able to cancel the item as it was still in the warehouse stage. I would order from them more often if it weren't for the shipping minimum!

I started using Chewy about a year ago when I adopted a kitten that was only able to eat a certain food and I was having trouble finding stores with it in stock. It has been amazing. The few times I've contacted customer service I have been very happy with their help. The first time I had to contact them was because I ordered the wrong thing. It was 100% my fault. They were so nice to me and didn't make me feel bad about it. Since the item was heavy they had me donate it to a local shelter instead of returning it. The second time was because the shipping company lost the package. When I reached out about Chewy got back to me right away. They were SUPER helpful, unlike other companies that would make you spend time calling the shipping company they took care of that for me. Then they helped me replace the order. Even though the kitten has grown out of the issue that made me need that certain food I will keep using Chewy. The auto ship is awesome and easy to adjust as needed. On top of everything else I can tell through conversations with customer service reps that they actually care about my pets!

This company has probably the best customer service I have ever dealt with! 24/7 availability! I forgot to cancel an auto shipment of prescription diabetic dog food after my beloved dog of 18 years passed away. They not only answered after normal working hours, they were compassionate and caring expressing condolences. They promptly (less than 48 hours) refunded the cost, but asked I donate the food in my dogs name to a vet or shelter. Two days later I received an FTD floral delivery again offering comforting words and flowers! I wish all companies treated customers like this! Not only have I spread the word- I will be a customer for life!

I think Chewy is just fantastic. Best company around. I had called yesterday to tell them to cancel all future orders of my dog Max prescription dog food. I told them he had passed away. Today a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a condolence card was delivered to me. What a caring and compassionate company this is. Can’t say enough good things about them. Whenever I place an order it’s like they were around the corner waiting to deliver it it comes very fast
