Quite possibly the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with. Ordered 2 cases of food. Promised 1-2 day delivery. It took 10. The cans had exploded and it wasn't even the flavor I ordered! They sent a replacement. Took 7 days this time, cans were extremely dented and again it was the wrong flavor!!!! Gave me a refund - big deal. I wanted the product I ordered!

Customer service is extremely rude! I wasn't pleased with how they handled a small issue. I had a different address for shipping and billing so they notified me to call customer service to make sure of this, which I did. I personally am not a huge fan of giving information over the phone so I was basically laughed at for my question of concern for them to verify something further to make me feel more comfortable about the situation. I also heard someone else ask a question as in do I think this is a scam and he laughed and answered yes to the guy while I'm on the phone still. Bummer cause I like the deals but we shall see how fast my order arrives before I use them again.

Went from one of my favorite companies to now being on my don't use list (I've spend over a thousand on their website over the year). The PetSmart buyout ruined them and that is a great tragedy for animal lovers like me who like to spoil their pets. It actually makes me feel sad.

For the last 4 months nothing has arrived as promised on Chewy website. They advertise 1-2 day shipping on anything over $49.00, but that doesn't happen anymore. I had an autoship for 90 lbs of dogfood and it should have been delivered today, but with no surprise it didn't even show up and when you call they will tell you lies and blame FEDEX for it not showing up on time. One order took 6 days to show up which is totally unacceptable when my dogs are ALL seniors (21 years down to 7 years old). I have 11 dogs and expect the items to show up as advertised. Will NEVER do business with this company again.

So much for auto ship, they call everytime saying they were unable to process payment! 1st 2 time they did not have my expiration date correct in my card and ensured me the second time it was now corrected. The 3rd time they say the expiration date in card was correct but was unable to process. Don't know who pushed the wrong buttons this time but my card was not the issue! All the head ache, much easier to pickup a bag at the store!

Well it's happened. The PetSmart influence has ruined Chewy. So sad. We have three Great Danes and so far this year we have spent over $1,000 in dog food from Chewy.com. I'm done. I have been buying food from Chewy with absolutely no problems until after PetSmart bought them out. Last month the price of our dog food increased by $15 a bag. I have ordered though their autoship program for the past year without a problem and now suddenly the price has drastically increased and I was not notified. I complained, they refunded the $30 difference for the two bags but was told that it was too bad and that they don't need to notify their customers of price increases on the autoship program. So basically they can charge whatever they want and you'll only notice the difference in your bank account. So this month I chose a cheaper variety of our brand and changed our autoship. Normally our bags ship early Friday and we receive them on Saturday. I was notified late Friday that this food was out of stock, please choose another. So I did. I sent them a screen shot of the next more expensive food. It shipped on Saturday, so now with the holiday we will not receive it until at least Wednesday. Then I see the the price per bag has increased by $5 over night. I've been over-charged and inconvenienced for the last time Chewy. I will take my money elsewhere and I will recommend that everyone else does the same.

One of my two dogs was suffering from separation anxiety and was breaking out of his kennel and hurting himself in the process. I also tried tethering him and he chewed/destroyed a corner of a wall. We tried to keep him free range in the room and he chewed/destroyed another wall corner. I ordered a heavy duty kennel through Chewy.com on the Wednesday before the holiday weekend (Monday) as they advertise 1-2 days for delivery and I figured I would receive the kennel by Friday and be able to put the kennel together over the weekend. I checked on the delivery status on Thursday and it had not been shipped. I then looked in my email and saw an email that stated I needed to call them to verify information. They had my phone number and could have called me. Everything checked out and I was told the kennel would be shipped. I checked on Friday afternoon to see where in the shipping process the kennel was and the Chewy.com site showed that I had never ordered anything. I again checked my email and saw an email from the day before stating that they could not verify my order until they verified my information (which they already had) and that my order would be cancelled in 24 hours if I did not contact them. 24 hours had gone by and they cancelled my order. I phoned and told them how upset I was – that I did what they asked and they screwed up my order and now I have a dog hurting himself, destroying my home and I would need to purchase another kennel to hold him until the one I should have received already arrives a week after my order (not to mention having to go pick it up and then assemble it which will take longer). The customer service rep told me that she could give me 10% off. I told her that does not help much, but I would take it. I received the invoice by email and noticed $10.00 off, not 10 %, which should have been approximately $55.00. I phoned again and was told by the next customer service rep that the first should have told me that the 10% discount “maxes out at $10.00). I calmly told her how extremely upset and ticked off I was and she said she could give me 20% off – which maxes out at $15.00. She then said “oh no”, and that while we were talking, my invoice/account went into a status wherein she could not make the change then. She advised that she would do so Saturday and then call me to confirm. I never received a phone call. I now see that there is a $15.00 coupon for my next order of dog food in my email, NOT the $15.00 off my current bill – which will NEVER be used as they would have to be crazy to think I would order ANYTHING from them again.

Every time I placed my order I added treats to my order to get me up to the $49 free shipping number. They would tell me later that these treat items were discontinued and charge me shipping. Don't do what they say Don't waste you time shopping with this place and buy at your local store where you know what you getting at what price.
