Chewy.comReviews of chewy.com

Beware if you have auto ship and don't check it before your order ships price CAN go up (this happened to me Three times) First order price was $8.99 for this particular item. next order $10.50 (still cheaper than in store @ $10.99) MY FINAL order $11.11 . This is just one of the items I regularly purchase , it happened to 3 out of the 4 I regularly buy.

Buyer beware! I ordered pet food for one price and was charged a more expensive price. When I called Chewy to clarify price discrepancy, I was told they do not lock in prices for items that are included in an autoship order. So, basically, you think you are getting a good deal-- and end up paying more. The customer rep., whom I spoke to for clarification, said Chewy's prices fluctuate with the market...interestingly, the prices for the food items included in my autoship order were, conveniently, always higher than the prices listed on Chewy's website when I initially placed my order. Chewy representative did not offer any adjustment and said she could not help me. Needless to say, I have cancelled my business with Chewy (no interest in dealing with a company that deals in bait-and-switch pricing).

There is something seriously wrong with their customer service department! I recently had surgery and ordered a ramp for my dog since I can’t pick him up. I never received order, then they sent 3 of the same item, to the office of my apartment complex. I have been asking for the past week for them to pick up and they won’t do it. I have explained numerous times that I can’t move and need them to come and get. I have now talked with at least 15 people, and the boxes still sit here.

DO NOT USE chewy.com online...they will steal your credit card information like they did mine on December 7, 2017!!...Multiple fraud charges in Florida to Apple and Gamestop made on 12.7 the day after my order. Chewy is located in Florida. Check out another review here from 8.21.17 from a chewy.com order customer who had $1000 cleaned out of his bank account. Chewy.com has been aware of and done nothing to stop this internal fraud of customers credit card info!! Also look on page 2 of 1 star reviews for the following report of Chewy thieves!!! Published Tuesday, May 2, 2017 Chewy employees made fraudulent transactions to my bank account Sunday I had ordered from chewy but because I live in the carribean i didn't know they did not accept international cards. A lady called and cancelled my order, Every thing was fine. Apparently Monday my bank account had numerous charges to some google viber and some other money l transferring apps. Tuesday is when I realized that my account was compromised because I couldn't sign into my mobile banking because they blocked my account due to the numerous transactions. Come to find out the person from chewy spent and transferred all of my money out of my account now I'm sitting here with no money until 90 days from now when the bank realizes it wasn't me that made those transactions I'm broke now because of chewy employees all of my hard earned cash is gone. In conclusion chewy is not safe for payment transactions because it seems like any and everyone has access to customer account info and they will not wait to start spending your money

Poor customer service and misrepresented "specials." They advertised American Journey dog food as buy 1 get 1 free. However they only sent one bag, and refused to send the "free" bag as they had advertised. I have been a Chewy customer for years...but I am done with them and their false advertising. I will go elsewhere for my dog food.

Cutting corners and (literally) breaking customers' backs. I've been a customer of chewy.com for over two and half years, receiving autoship orders of dog food monthly. Recently, chewy.com started packing TWO 30 lb bags of dog food into a SINGLE box. (Each bag used to arrive in its own box.) 1) The box is too small to actually hold both bags. Thus the box is overstuffed and falling apart by the time it reaches my house. 2) The box is too heavy to lift. It weighs over 60 lbs! Thus, this requires me to disassemble and unload the contents on the doorstep (last time in the pouring down rain), or wait until my neighbor's husband gets home from work to carry the overloaded box into my house. I'm sure this is a result of a cost-cutting initiative gone awry or related to the recent purchase of chewy by Petsmart. When I called customer service, the nice rep stated they could set it up to ship in two boxes like it used to, but I would have to now pay more for shipping. This is totally unacceptable. After many years of loving chewy.com I just canceled my ongoing autoship order. Additionally, the $400 of xmas gift purchases sitting in my online cart is getting deleted instead of bought. You just lost a long-time customer.

What has happened to Chewy.com? What a joke the basic premises of the company have become. Their “auto ship” program once allowed me to have food delivered as needed. It was economical and so convenient. Now, the last two times an order is to ship, I have received calls noting that food is out of stock. Since that necessitates separate shipments at later times, the phone operators want to charge additional delivery fees AND cannot tell me when food will be shipped. No longer economical and so inconvenient. No more Chewy.com.

Dog threw up food. Food doesn’t smell right. Got the 47 lbs bag of Purina pro plan. Throwing it away!!!
