Chewy used to be my go-to place for all my pet needs. But in recent months, they have become very sloppy when handling orders. I have had repeated orders where items were damaged because heavy items were placed in alongside fragile items with no cushioning or just some brown paper. Customer service does handle the issue, but even their customer service has been lacking lately in politeness and solutions. I suggested that they let tell their packers to pack items more carefully and was told that cannot be done. Who needs the hassle of repeatedly receiving damaged goods and then having to repeatedly email to get items replaced? I certainly don't. Chewy's prices used to be cheaper than other online stores, but not so much any more. You can shop elsewhere for pretty much the same prices and free shipping without the hassle.

Poor customer service States order is complete and days later has issues with billing address. I would rather pay a higher price with amazon then wait around for chewy to actual process the order.

Don't buy anything here they lie and say it will be there in 1 to 2 days but it won't show up. Save your money go to pet store. Customer service sucks. They are no help just blame Fedx for not shipping order in first place. Run away from chewy.

We ordered 4 items, 2 arrived 4 days later. 2 items never came. After 2 weeks and 3 attempts by Chewy ... nothing. The 2 items that did deliver were in a rental box truck and the driver was wearing street clothes, no FedEx markings. They did refund my money. They have very little control of their process. We would have saved so much time by driving to a pet store.

My first time buying from chewy.com was very awful my shipment didn't get sent out it was a big hassle they had no problem taking the money out of my account though but they had a problem sending me my product very dissatisfied with this will never shop there again

i have ordered from this company for 4 years but never again because they use Fed EX as a shipper but will not allow me to request for another due to their support of NRA i am moral;ly opposed to their support of this

Ordered paid, call confirmed verbally the order. Order cancelled day of estimated delivery called customer service cant explain why and ordered cage for a client who purchased a puppy from me totally embarrassed me with my client, and chewy was sorry but wanted to give me a discount on a new order. But mean time ruined my reputation and made my business looks like unprofessional with my client. Would have been better off buying for my local pet store and delivering it myself, totally dissatisfied. Won't make that mistake again.

Forced to jump through hoops to return a defective product and a couple other things. Was told to donate it but fortunately was still in my garage as a week later I got another email to return it. Not sure if all this has anything to do with them being bought out by Petsmart. Wonder why I cannot make in store returns since they are the same company to have avoided the headaches?
