on some occaisions it will say my package is shipped only to find out it's lost on the truck and I have to wait another day to recieve - I was just charged twice for 1 order and they claim I have to get my bank to be on a 3 way conversation with them - I spoke with Ashea M and her supervisor Ambra M at 3am this morning , very unprofessional and did not help my problem with a double deduction from my bank account..just chatted with David M this morning at 6:02 and did not correct my issue - so now I have to call my bank today and also cancelled all of my autoships and just get the food from Petsmart or my vet do yourself a favor and get your food elsewhere

My first time using chewy. In the mail I got a $15 off coupon for $49+. I bought a large bag of dog food & some treats for anxiety. When I checked out my first confirmation order total was $42.02 & said I saved $15... (perfect). Then I got another email later one saying my order total was $46.24 saying you saved $11.10... (what the hell). 2 days later my bag of dog food has affixed (yay) but the anxiety treats still have not (bummer). I have a habit of always checking my bank balanace after I purchase online orders. So I had a charge for $42.02, $10.92 & $4.22 with confusion because that total is $57... when my total should have been $42. After calling customer service, long story short it ended up being the anxiety treats total was split in two transactions (they don’t know why) & “somehow” the $42.02 order was “cancelled”. I did not cancel it myself when they kept saying I did, which I mentioned I never got a cancel order confirmation (weird). Anyways, that order was cancelled, so my total was supposed to be $46.24. Customer service said I should see a $31 dollar charge on my bank account because that’s how much the dog room is..... blah. I was excited to use chewy because I thought it was going to be easier getting my pet supplies plus I get coupons in the mail but I will not be using chewy anymore, due to all the confusion customer service can’t even explain to me & getting charged multiple times & “canceled orders”. All together the coupon I received in the mail for $15 off, after all these transactions I didn’t even get $15 off, I ended up “saving $11.10” . Sooooo I ended up paying more???? Now I am having to have my bank deal with this. Yeah I know this is a mess. The large bag of dog food arrived in 2 days which is awesome but I’m still missing my other package.

just placed my first order sunday night, received email Monday that it has been shipped, then receieved delivery date of today oct 3, waiting all day, at the end of day, delivery changed to pending no date set. my bird is now out of food, I paid for shipping so I would expect to get as good service as those getting free 2 day shipping. I will never order from chewy.com again

I ordered flea treatment (Advantage) for my cat. Chewy sent me dog food instead. When I complained, they said that my order had been delivered and there is nothing they could do. When I told them it was the wrong product, they replied "Oh, I doubt that". I am out $50 and ended up giving the dog food away.

I have been purchasing life-sustaining medication for my through Chewy since their acquisition of the PetSmart pharmacy. When you are purchasing mediation every 10-14 days it is frustrating when you attempt to place an order and find out the medication will be out of stock for 1-2 weeks. Why the pharmacy would be unaware that their supply is running that low and fail to contact customers is frustrating to say the least. Chewy's fails to see the principles behind the value of customers and customer service.

I have had nothing but horrible experiences with them so many order confusions and could never meet there 1-2 day shipping they advertise.....please just go to your local pet store.

They claim to offer free 1 - 2 day shipping on orders over $49 doesn't mean they will ship using a 2 day shipping method. It just means you will get the order in 1 - 2 days if they happen to have the item(s) you order in stock at a location that is close enough to get it to you using a non-expedited shipping method. When I inquired about an items that were scheduled for delivery 4 business days after order I was told I would receive a full refund because they didn't live up to their offer, but that never happened. I don't no about you, but I prefer to do business with companies that don't continually lie to their customers.

August 24: Ordered critical meds for my pets August 29: Still have not received anything. Called. Chewy rep says "Meds are shipped today" Sept 2: Still nothing. Called. Chewy rep says "Meds not shipped; Still waiting for approval from your vet" It's Labor Day weekend so that will not happen until Sept.4 Sept 4: Checked with vet and here is the real history: --------------------------------- Aug. 24: Chewy received meds order over the weekend Aug. 26: Chewy called in the meds over the phone Vet was clear they do not do VERBAL prescriptions [that should have been obvious!] Aug. 27 AM: Chewy sent a faxed request for prescriptions; Vet approved and faxed back Aug. 27 PM: Chewy said they did not receive fax; Vet faxed again prescription a 2nd time [Saw proof of fax so Chewy did get the faxed prescription 2x on Aug.27] >> but nothing happened. Chewy does not ship. So: Aug. 29, when I called: I'm told "meds are shipped" but they are not! Sept 2:, when I called: "No, meds are not shipped; waiting for approved prescription from Vet" That's when I cancelled my order with Chewy.com and ordered at VetRxDirect which process my pets meds orders in less than 1 day. In the mean time I scramble to bring cat to Emergency Vet to get emergency meds to tie me over during Labor Day weekend before receiving shipment from VetRxDirect. I blame Chewy and consider they should reimburse urgent pet care I had to pay because of their incompetence DON'T BUY MEDS AT CHEWY.COM THEY WILL LET YOU PETS DIE BEFORE SHIPPING THE ORDERED MEDS. Buy instead at VetRxDirect which are more efficient and care about ensuring critical meds get to your pets fast.
