A few people told me that Chewy had good customer service so I decided to check them out. The wrong food was delivered and they wanted to charge me to fix it. The customer service rep was argumentative. They did not live up to remarks I heard/read and I will go back to using Foster's & Smith. Better prices and better customer service experience

Had to give One star or I would not have given that. I used to really enjoy chewy and even participated in their auto ship program. My last auto ship included 5 bags of Rachel Ray Soup bones and medicine that my dog needs for his liver. They get me the bones but the medicine has not shown up and it has been over a week. Thanks to chewy my dog has now gone three days without his medicine. I am done with chewy. This won't happen again

Normally this company is very good but when they can't handle the volume or they are going to get an order to you well after their promised 2 day deliver they get an F in communication. I had an automatic order placed at 1am on a Friday. Normally my orders ship the same day even when placed in the afternoon and I get the order the next day. In this case, they never shipped the order until Saturday and they shipped it from a warehouse that well exceeds their promised 2 day delivery. So now the order that was placed Friday am will not be received until sometime Wednesday and that's if it gets here then. They never communicated any of this to me and if I hadn't checked on my order I would not have had any clue the order was going to be delayed. The food I get from them is not one that can be found locally so now I'm having to feed my dog less to make it last. This is the worst customer service EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found a fraudulent charge on my bank statement. I contacted chewy as it said it was an online order. I asked what info was required, if it was just the card number or if the code on the back or zip code was required. They wouldn't not tell me. I asked for the address that it was shipped to, they would not tell me. They are more concerned with protecting a thief than they are a cardholder. I do not own a pet, but if i did, i would NEVER buy from Chewy. Absolutely ridiculous. Told me to file a police report but would give me ZERO info to give to Visa or to Police. Unbelievable. Would not even give me the order number for a purchase made on MY CARD.

Don’t know if problem is lazership or chewy but for 3 days after the day my order was to be delivered my order was held for every excuse including I live in a gated community when I don’t. Then it was they couldn’t find my address. Then they googled my complex and even though the address for delivery was the rental office they held it for an apt number. Since our doors open to the outside 911 has each unit have its own individual address even though they are not delievering it to my unit. Staples uses laser ship and had exact same issues that after 3 times stopped ordering from Staples for delievery because either it takes daily calling to get the delievery made for over a wk while hearing things totally not true like we live in a gated community or they delievery it late at night, leaving it in the elements where anyone can see it and product gets damaged. Chewy if you’re not at fault for the delay, please consider ditching Lazership as they are horrible and delay deliveries for every fake answer they can come up with until they have enough local delieveries to actually send a truck to the area. On top of everything else the order carries an item I need for my pet’s and the community’s safety and yet I’m spending so far 3 days after it was to be delivered still trying to get it delievered. Lazership sucks and I won’t be ordering again until you do business with a different delivery service.

Delivery was NEVER placed at front door as promised. Always delivered at neighbors front porch, garage doors. I would call customer service and voice complaint, never corrected over a year. BAD DEAL!!!!

We placed an order for a few items. Now, we have a PO BOX so we know for delivery to use the physical street address of post office and our box number. We've done this many times in CO. Right now we're in OK for a few months. Little did we know Chewy ONLY uses FedEx for delivery and they refused to deliver our items. Everything was returned to Chewy and we were credited our money. Chewy did nothing to fix the issue other than suggest we find another place to mail items. This was after I REPEATEDLY told them we have no other place to mail packages to. So instead of helping find another shipper like UPS or regular mail they now have lost a customer forever. And we're military so I'll be spreading the word not to shop them within our military community.

I am a veterinary tech and I thought this would be an awesome site to get the best for my babies at a price I could afford. As a single working mother of 4, I live paycheck to paycheck. I bought some things for my cat and thought that was going to be the ONLY charge. WOW was I wrong. Apparently, the stuff I ordered came from 3 seperate warehouses, which you are not inforned before hitting the purchase button, that each warehouse will put an ADDITIONAL hold on the funds in your account to total the amount of goods purchased from that particular warehouse. Weird right?? I called them when I first noticed an additional charge, after ALREADY paying the total balance at the time of purchase. I was told this is how rhe system works. I asked where I could find that explained on their site, and go figure- "I don't know ma'am" is all I got. I was assured the money would be applied back to my bank THAT NIGHT And no more charges would accrue. WRONG AGAIN!! I get off work and stop at the gas station across the street as I work 30 minutes from my house and my gas light just came on and I needed to get my daughter picked up from school in an hour. My card is DECLINED!! I Look at my account activity because I know the gas I was attempting to purchase was less than what was in my account before going to bed....now keep in mind this isn't even including the additional money they had on hold STILL AFTER ASSURING ME IT WOULD BE BACK IN MY ACCT THAT DAY. Low and behold...THERE IS ANOTHER ADDITIONAL CHARGE FROM CHEWY, from a DIFFERENT warehouse. I immediately call and request to speak to a manager. After being on hold for 20 minutes, she finally gets on to tell me THERE IS NOTHING SHE CAN DO!?!?! I explain to her that I need that money to not only get home but also to pick up my 8 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER FROM SCHOOL. Again...she says there is nothing she can do but the money will be available in 2 to 4 business days!?!? So AM I SUPPOSED TO STAY AT WORK AND MY DAUGHTER STAY AT SCHOOL FOR 2 TO 4 BUSINESS DAYS???? I did NOT get to my daughter UNTIL 9 PM!!!!! 5 hours after school got out. That is how LONG IT TOOK ME TO BE ABLE TO GET AHOLD OF SOMEONE TO BORROW THE MONEY! Then I was told I would get a full refund...haha yea right. STILL WAITING ON THAT TOO! Save yourself the headache and just order from petco or petsmart .com where you ONLY SPEND WHAT YOU AGREE TO BY PRESSING THE CHECK OUT BUTTON! I've never been so upset at a company. I'm usually pretty laid back when it comes to stuff because I deal with people in every kind of situation daily...but come on. DO THE HONEST THING ONLY CHARGE PEOPLE FOR WHAT THEY PURCHASE....WITHOUT ADDITIONAL HOLDS!
