I placed an order for nexguard and sent in the prescription for my two dogs. They changed my order and did not send me what was ordered. Will NEVER use them again! Customer service was of no help. Young kids who don’t really care. Never again. You lost a customer for life

I’ve been a chewy customer for six years now. I have always loved their prices. Tonight, I went online to order my cat food, and discovered a six dollar escalation in price. From 13.40 to 19.40.... in one month. I called to ask about this. The explanation I received was… We base our prices according to what the competition is doing. So because Amazon, and some other online pet stores are selling this cat food for $19.40, chewy has decided in its infinite wisdom that it’s going to sell the cat food for the same price. So riddle me this Batman; what’s to keep me from moving to Amazon? I’m a prime member… And they have next day delivery. What is going to keep me at Chewy? This is a question that I have an answer for. ....... nothing. Chewy also uses Fed ex; it’s the only delivery service available in my area. Fed ex is too lazy to walk up three flights of stairs to deliver my goods. Often times they don’t deliver them at all. Sometimes the bags are broken when they deliver them and there’s cat litter or cat food all over the box. Amazon has their own delivery service, and they have no problems walking things to my door. I once loved Chewie.com, I’ve sent a lot of friends there. But if your reason for escalating my cat food in price by 6.00 is “because everyone else is doing it,” then I am gone! You’ve lost me. “By-by!”

I placed my order and selected auto ship in order to get the 30% off discount and bought more than $49 worth of stuff in order to get the free shipping. I received my order confirmation showing prices and all discounts applied. The next day they send me an email stating my order can not be processed because the 30% off discount is only for new customers who select auto ship and can not be used more that once. Well obviously I am a new customer who placed their first auto ship order because if I wasn't, the discount would have never been applied at checkout. They then had the nerve to instead offer me a 10% discount. Really Chewy?? REALLY???? I will NEVER order from this fraudulent company again.

Check your account! Autoship prices jumped from $65 to $78 in a matter of a few months, without notice! When I called to ask why, I was told their prices "fluctuate daily based on supply and demand." Um, what? This isn't a commodity, Chewy. You're better off just buying from your vet or a retailer in your neighborhood. Sneaky business practices!

I bought my dog tick medication that she loves from this website. They selected for the medication to be sent to my house every 4 weeks. I did not know that this medication is suppose to be taken every 3 months. So when a new order gets ship to my house I questioned it being to soon. I gave my dog an extra dose. There should not be even an opition for this to he shipped and less than 12 weeks. I am so angry and was so scared. I cried worried about my dog. They need to do a better job with their pharmacy. Seriously I am truly disappointed and so is the animal hospital.

RAPID, UNEXPECTED PRICE HIKES! Well, this USED to be a good place to order pet food and supplies. Not anymore. Now that Petsmart has taken them over, everything has changed, especially the pricing. Went on the site this morning to update a recurring order (autoship): I wanted to add a couple of more units to it (bags of dog treats). I noticed that as soon as I navigated to the product page on the website, the price had gone up by more than 10%. Okay fine, they are in business to make money, so not all that unusual. Then I go to add another variety (flavor) of the same product, and now the price is up another 10% (had been $4.99 per bag, then $5.63 a bag, now, suddenly the same exact product is $6.46 a bag). I start wondering what the heck is going on, so I go back and look at my autoship order. All I can say is WOW! Now, they've jacked the price up to over $7 a bag. In the course of one visit to their website, they jacked the prices up for the exact same item in the exact same size from $4.99 per bag to $7.79!!!! Almost a 60% price hike. So I pick up the phone and call to complain. The answer I get: oh, we adjust our prices based on the market. Market? This ain't gold or crude oil. It's pet food! Needless to say, any company that thinks it's fine to ratchet the prices up on a stock product more than 60% in the course of 10 minutes surfing their website, is not getting any more of our business. Too bad for them, we have 4 dogs and spent well over $1,800 with them last year.

Bought a dog crate from them it arrived bent all causing assembly to take 3 hours then it was so badly bent my puppy knocked the.side wall off and got her paw stuck! I called Chewy.com to be told to tear it all part and mail it back before receiving a REPLACEMENT...Which is an inconvenience to myself and my family.....HORRIBLE GO BUY IT AT TRACTOR SUPPLY!
