Chewy.comReviews of chewy.com

Please stop promising free 1-3 day delivery, you have not gotten anywhere near meeting that promise in the last several orders I have made. It truly is false advertising, and people are ordering things based solely on those false promises.

Chewy used to be fantastic! The customer service always solved issues quickly and they were very friendly about it. Now They don't notify you when your auto ships don't ship, packages take 2 weeks to arrive (not the 1-3 days as advertised on their website), orders arrive damaged due to poor packaging (items thrown in, tape slapped on so the corners still open, etc.). Worst of all their customer service has gone way down hill. Most of the time they won't respond to any messages anymore which is upsetting because they used to have the best customer service of any online company. The only reason this is getting 2 stars instead of 1 is because chewy used to be amazing! What suddenly changed?

Chewy service is ok. You can not count on getting your orders in their "1-3 day delivery" Most of the time it 1-2 weeks. Which is hard when planning your pets food and prescriptions. Several times I have had to make emergency runs to the pet store because the orders are so late.

I used to be a happy customer for quite a few years but I lived in a city then. Now, away from a city, my order is shipped to an old address, Chewy apologized once but it keeps on happening and now, it takes more than a week to get anything delivered. When I called for assistance, i was told "my system is slow, i will put you on hold" i waited 10 minutes to see how far she would go..."She" finally hung up. I went to Chat and the agent was more professional but no explanation for the delay and the food arrived, but it took 8 or 9 days. If you live away from a big center, find other options than Chewy and Chewy 24/7 needs to be checked, it seems to me that now they are growing at the expense of the quality of their service, at least for my corner of the woods. Very disappointing

First of all. I posted a review with photos showing sharp splinters, that came off the Red Barn Kneecaps. These could get lodged in a dogs throat and sharp enough to make your foot bleed. That review never made it to the .com reviews. Customer service was great. Nice folks. But it worries me that there's a potentially serious item they carry and it's not being removed.

I ordered heart medication for my dog 9 days ago. I understand that they need time to call the vet and get the prescription verified, but it was 5 days before the order was filled and 6 before they shipped it. The expected delivery date was given for 2 days ago, but it still hasn't shown up. This isn't just vitamins, my dog relies on these pills to be comfortable with his heart murmur. I understand being backlogged and short staffed, but please be honest with your customers so they can make other plans when their shipments do not come in at a reasonable time.

I no longer use Chewy because of their inconsistent shipping times. I was using "subscribe and save" to deliver dog food on a regular schedule. Out of a total of 11 orders I didn't receive 2 of the orders and had to get refunds. That's 18% of my orders unfulfilled. The shipments had labels created but they were never given to Fedex and sat on the chewy loading dock while my dogs were anxiously awaiting the arrival of their food. The food choices are enormous at chewy, but shipping for me was unreliable.

I live in Spokane Washington. If my order comes from the Vegas/Arizona area then I get it quickly within 3 days. If it comes from Indiana then over a week. Last order placed Oct 1st. Maybe get it on the 11th according to the fedex tracker. Can I cancel my order if I see it coming from across the country?
