I bought a cat tree from Chewy during the black Friday sales and I noticed that they hiked the price up and then applied the discount so it ended up being the same price as it would have any other time of year. To me, that says alot about the company. Also, said free two day shipping but now that I look at the receipt it says nothing about that and it's been 4 days and it still hasn't arrived.

Beware of Autoship with this company! On my last autoship they increased the price of one of my items by 68% after I added it to my order. I called and they credited my account. This time they charged me almost double the advertised price for an item that was on Cyberdeals for Black Friday and increased several other items, too, so my order ended up being $30.00 more than the total it showed online the night before shipment! I will be ordering my pet food from Amazon from now on, they are faster and shipping is free regardless of the order size (with Prime).

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES I have purchased from Chewey for a number of years and was very happy with them. I had autoship for food and cat litter. After not ordering for two years, I ordered again a few days ago. They apparently have a "new policy" (but they don't tell you this when you order--NO WARNING!!) where they will debit your bank account for the total of your order, "a pending debit charge", and then debit your account FOR THE AMOUNT SHIPPED FROM EACH WAREHOUSE. So, you are charged for double the amount until they get around to crediting your account for the original order. So, I orderded $92 worth of merchandise, and I have had $184 debited from my bank account. They shipped my items from three different warehouses. I did not have $182 in my bank, so now I am overdrafted and I will have the pleasure of paying $35 a day for overdraft charges. I called Chewey Customer Service AGAIN today' (I used their "chat" function a day ago). They are very blase about this, and just assured me that I can simply call the bank on a three way call and they will pay any overdraft charges incurred. How is this even legal???? I'm supposed to endure this every time and ruin my credit??? I am going to post this review on their website, call the Better Business Bureau, Dept of Consumer Affairs, etc. It CANNOT be legal to use the debit card number you have provided them with to make UNAUTHORIZED charges. If you read the one star reviews over the past couple of months you will find several other complaints about this new "double dipping" policy. So...they get to have the "float" on your money--for a week or more and then "refund" it to you when they get around to it.

This was my first order with your service. My dog was recently diagnosed with Diabetes, so he’s on a special diet now, and our vet recommended we purchase the food through Chewy. I ordered his food on Friday and never received any indication that my order was being processed. I checked with my vet and was told they’d approved the prescription request promptly. So I called customer service this morning and the woman I spoke to said she’d just pushed my order through. Why couldn’t this have been done sooner? The customer service rep said something about “it just depends on whose desk it lands on,” which seems like an odd response to me. It’s an important order. My pet’s health depends on his diet. And I’m just supposed to accept that it may or may not go through and that I’ll have to baby the process along at every step? I’ll be looking for another vendor.

First, and probably last, time I have ordered from them I ordered something Friday night. I got an e-mail Saturday morning saying it shipped. It hasn't shipped yet. Now they are saying it hasn't actually shipped yet. They are misleading saying they shipped the item when they didn't and saying most items arrive in 1 to 2 days. It will be almost a week after ordering that I get it.

Not a fan. I thought I would use them for my heartworm medication prescription - WAY MORE WORK THAN IT WAS WORTH. I saved a few bucks...but I spend tons of time trying to get them to send it to me. Boo! Never again.

I'm am very dissatisfied with Chewy.com. I was looking forward to having my dogs food and treats deliver bi weekly. Unfortunately the first order ships with the dog food bag open and food everywhere in the box. I called to complain and they promised they would put the box in the mail that day and I would receive it in two days. After a week I called to check the status of my now replacement order, and was told that it had not shipped, they would refund my money and ship it that day. She assured me I would receive it in two days. Again another week has passed now, I still have not received my now third attempt at getting dog food. So....I call once again, to be told the same thing "my order had not shipped "they apologized again, and would send it out as soon as possible. This is ridiculous. I have decided I no longer need the frustration of three weeks without my order, three different customer service calls, representatives say the same thing. I did get a refund for the bag of dog food, However not the shipping!! I then Have to make another request for my shipping cost! Not worth the trouble nor my time. I would not recommend Chewie.com

If I could put zero stars I definitely would! They have terrible customer service. I had to live chat four times, email, and request a phone call, which I never received. After all of this I still did not get the assistance that I needed. I wanted to cancel and I had to settle for a no commitment plan. After the third live chat, the person said that they would get someone to help me and then the screen went blank. This is the equivalent of being hung up on. I am very dissatisfied and will not use this site for anything ever again!
