Chewys autoship program is a joke! I had placed an order that happened to be on sale, to be shipped on Jan 11th. When I hadn’t received it by the 13th, I decided to give them a call. They informed me that an item I had ordered was on back order and that they were holding the entire order until all items were available. I informed him that you need to let someone know by email as I was about to fun out of food. He then offered to send the order immediately but without honoring the sale price from my original order. This place is a joke and I will never order from them again! Be careful if you auto ship as you may not receive your items when you are expecting them.

I called chewy.com this morning at 8:40 am. I spoke to a young man and ask him about an American-made stainless steel dog bowl that I could order. After searching his computer he gave me an item number asked me if I wanted to order it. I told him I would look it up myself which I did to find out that the product is made in India. I can only guess that he seen it was distributed from Ohio so he may have thought it was made here. But I do believe chewy.com should better trained their representatives. It's unfortunate when consumers are misled like this.

Terrible experience with Chewy. All around. This was our first time purchasing something from them and were thinking of purchasing our dog food through them as well. Good thing we didn’t! I ordered dog pjs and a sweater on November 26 (2 days before Thanksgiving). We purposefully ordered two items so we would qualify for the 1-2 day shipping. Estimated delivery date said December 3rd (not what we paid for, but it was the holidays so we cut them some slack). December 3rd came and went. Estimated delivery date: December 4th. Estimated delivery date: December 5th. Estimated delivery date: December 6th. 10 days after we placed the order! We decided to email them and find out what was going on. No response. Estimated delivery date: December 7th. Estimated delivery date: December 10th. We emailed again (12 days after original purchase). After no response, we decided to call. The person on the phone was SUPER unhelpful. Couldn’t understand why our package hadn’t been delivered yet and didn’t know where it was. They sent a “replacement” even though we specifically said we didn’t want a replacement. Finally, an email response after the phone call: “Sorry we can’t find your order. Can you give us your phone number.” We literally included our order number in the subject of the email not to mention my name is on the email. Expected delivery date: December 11th. Expected delivery date: December 12th. Expected delivery date: December 13th. The person on the phone said our package should definitely be there on December 12th and if not, the replacement would arrive by the end of December 13th or 14th at the latest. Estimated delivery date: December 14th. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. By this point, we were so fed up we just wanted our money back. We emailed them and asked for a refund. They emailed back apologizing that our food was late (WHAT?) and issued us a refund for $19.97 (??). We paid for a sweater for $45.95 and pjs for $21.40.....what?! We responded with an attached receipt and asked for a FULL refund for the ACTUAL items we paid for. Then another email saying we’ll refund you the remaining balance of $23.27 (still $30 short!!). We called and they said they couldn’t do another refund because it had already been done and someone would contact us from management. Never did we hear from them again. We got too tired of fighting it so we lost $30. In case you were wondering, the packages did arrive. 3 weeks after the original purchase. We got one sweater and 2 dog pjs. WHAT. Anyway, we will be donating the pjs because they are sized terribly and we will NEVER order from Chewy again. What a nightmare!

I have been using Chewy for a very long time but recently I’ve noticed changes. The boxes I now receive have 2-3 bags of cat litter in one box. Even the delivery people won’t carry my boxes upstairs (I’m on the 2nd floor of an apartment) and they leave them downstairs. (Not exactly safe and not truly delivered to me.) I’ve called their customer service to request smaller boxes and two representatives didn’t know how to answer me and said to just order each item separately. If I order each item separately, the shipping costs won’t be worth the savings. I even asked them if they only have one size box and try to cram all they can into that box....they actually said yes! What happened to this company?! The customer service use to be great and I’ve never had any issues. I guess I’m going back to my old way of shopping and cancelling my orders with Chewy.

Chewy used to receive glowing reviews From me and I only had a couple issues over the years but they always made it right.I use frozen raw for my 3 dogs and they haven’t been able to get it to me in the 48 hour window Latelyand it comes To me starting to defrost. Have to throw out! They reship Fedex doesn’t leave it and it goes to there center overnight and comes to me partially defrosted. I had to throw out. All this time I am going back and forward to local shop cause now it is going on 2 weeks and I need to feed my dogs. Third shipment comes and it is OK. Then decided next shipment I would wait at the house and Fedex says it’s out for delivery. No delivery again spoiled raw food and mad dash to pet store locally. So I changed from raw to can and dehydrated food cause I love Chewy and have been pleased. Now they are out of all 4 of my rotational foods and have to buy local again. Gave them last chance with order and ordered the can and dehydrated again. Every can of the case was dented and bubbling under water all had to be thrown out. The dehydrated was packed with cans on top and was torn and all over the box so called Chewy to get credit and they actually asked for pictures this time. They can’t get it right so now I am scamming them BS but I sent the pictures and got my money back. Insulting though and deleted my account. I am spending all my time dashing to local store anyway. It use to be great now pathetic. I think it is nice to send cards and flowers when a baby passes but how about feeding the living!!!!

Recieved a nice gift shipment at Christmas for my two Finch birds from family member, but unfortunately the items were all way to big for my 2 small birds . I called Chewy and told them original package of items ( 4) all unopened with tags attached and I gave them order number from packing slip. The looked up order and said no exchanges or credit! The only way they would do a return was with person who bought items. I explained I did not want the person to know I was exchanging. They didn't care and would not help me at all. I never asked for money, just exchange. When I asked for a supervisor, the rep said wouldn't matter, that was their policy. I will never order from this company for their lack of customer care. I'm also alerting others to shop elsewhere also.

Took four days to fill my dogs pain medications. I will not use this service again.

Did not get us the antibiotic that we needed to try and save our dog. Took them 6 days for it to arrive and we paid for next day air.We had to put Fisher down because he was in terrible shape. We just got home from the vet and it was on the porch. I will NEVER do business with this company ever again. Eff you chewy.
