My first time using this company and probably my last. Bought some prescription dog food and they canceled my order. The price was the same as my vets prices so it is not like I am saving money just trying to make it more convenient for me. Can’t get a hold of anyone to see why the order was canceled. Looking at their reviews seems like price gouging and poor business practice is a common theme here.

Chewy has horrible service. I make a order larger than I can afford to get the free 1to 2 day free shipping. Didn’t happen. They are slow on email response,they blame it on my vet. After waiting 55 minutes on hold on the phone they say I may great my dogs meds in a week, that is 2 weeks after I placed my order. This was one bottle of a common medicine for my dog. Meanwhile my dog has to suffer because of there miss representation of there service. I am not happy

ON3/23/2020 I PLACED A ORDER TOTAL $90.45.I RECEIVED . PART OF THE ORDER A WEEK LATER.BILLED $ 70.08 THEN A WEEK LATER I RECEIVED THE REST OF THE ORDER AND CHARGE THE BALANCE OF $20.35. I CHECKED MY BANK ACCOUNT AND WAS CHARGED $71.08 AGAIN .ON 3/27/2020. ON TOP OF $71.80 FOR A FURTHER ORDER.I CANCELED . I CAN NOT GET THEM TO RELEASE MY MONEY I TALKED TO A PERSON AFTER A 37 MINUTE WAITE AND TOLD THAT IT WAS TO BE REFUNDED STILL ON 3/31/2020 NOTHING.I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

I opened a box of Iams kitten wet food and there were maggots in it! There was a puncture whole with maggots crawling out! It made my whole kitchen smell like something died!

Don't use if you love your pet. Had a drug on autofill. They sent me an email and told me they had it on hand and I would get it on time. Two days later they told me the drug was not coming, was not in stock, and the email was just generic and sent to everyone. Then they went on to tell me they may not get the med and would have to cancel if they didn't because they could only hold my payment for so long. It's the dog's pain medicine and they could care less.

I cannot begin to explain how annoyed and frustrated I am with your service and cavilier attitude at having wasted my time. I am further perplexed and you just plain mad at how you send me an email explaining that you tried contacting me. I find this to be patenly false. I was assured, when I set up my dog's prescription that future orders would be quickly filled. So after going online this morning and seeing that the medicine hadn't shipped, I sent and email asking you to ship the medication. Then I get an email telling me my order had been cancelled.  Is this the way you treat all customers. Please look for my rating of your service!

I’ve been using Chewy for a couple of years and have always been happy with them. Until now. They’ve spiked prices on the dog food I normally buy, the price on a 30-lb bag going from $48 to $60 and the price of treats going from $4 to almost $12. That’s price gouging during this pandemic and when it is over, I will be cancelling my subscription.

Worst customer service or should I say no customer service. Ordered one bag of food and a couple toys.I get a huge box with only toys in it 7 days after ordering.You can see that it had been opened and retaped and the label says it is 29 lbs so I know the food was in there.I call and on hold for 45 minutes to find out "oh we ran out of food at that Warehouse so it been shipped out of PA". I said that's kind of funny seeing that it looks like it was in the box already and you guys pulled it back out and retaped the box and the tag says 29lbs. I was accidentally hung up on yeah right.It took them seven days to reply to a email.I had to go-to the local store to buy food because I had no idea when chewy was actually going to send my food.Good thing I did 14days later I get my food that was supposedly already shipped.I guess they forgot you can see the tracking of when it was really shipped.I will just support my local store not worth the hassle with chewy.I hope you go belly up chewy after screwing your customers around.
