I have two cats and they use prescription food for kidney disease. I am always impressed by how quickly I get the delivery. However, prices are steadily increasing. I do understand that is as a result of economics, however I placed my order yesterday, and today my credit card was charged about 7 dollars more than the price on my invoice yesterday. In addition, they sent me a 15 dollar off coupon, but said my order didn't qualify. The only restriction was that I had to have a prescription order, which I do. I sent them an email, and got no response. I feel like my loyalty as a customer is actually costing me more than the savings originally promised when I signed up.

I placed an order on the 3 and it’s now the 12 th and we still don’t have our prescription drugs. I’ve called my vet and they have verbal approval the next day but Chewys faxed them anyway and was waiting for it to be returned Chewys said the Dr requires a fax, I called my vet and that was not true. Come on people, we need our stiuff!

Chewy has a great selection of products and fast shipping, however since they’ve acquired petfooddirect there prices have increased and they don’t offer the sales that petfooddirect used to have! I’ve personally spent thousands of dollars at both sites but have become increasing disappointed with chewy. Chewy is also part of Petsmart, and they no longer offer their big friends and family sales! I have recently tried shopping at Drsfostersandsmith. Although they don’t have nearly the food selection that chewy has, they do run excellent sales and have fast shipping. It just is disappointing how chewy has tried to swallow the competition and then take advantage of that position! I live out in the country and have trapped more than 20 feral cats and had them all spayed or neutered. Although I’m glad I was able to stop them multiplying there are still about 16 ferals that basically rely on me to keep them fed! It was so much easier when petfooddirect was in business because they had great sales. Unfortunately now it’s increasingly difficult to keep the ferals fed like I used to. Thankfully a non profit organization was able to find forever homes for the last litter of seven kittens I was able to trap, but I haven’t found anyone willing to take on any of the older feral cats, and I won’t just leave them starve. I have even bought outdoor heated shelters for the ferals to try and keep them comfortable in our cold winter weather. Owning 2 large dogs and six indoor cats of my own I spend quite a lot on these sites, just ask my six spoiled Sphynx! Chewy does have a great selection, fast shipping and helpful customer service, but they really should offer more discounts to their customers. I wish I could offer a better life to the ferals but I have nowhere to shelter them. It’s actually very sad when one doesn’t come eat because you know that it was most likely taken by a coyote or hit by a car. I try my best to do what I can to keep them healthy and fed.

I signed up for the auto pay (every 4 weeks) but they were taking out the money 4-7 days earlier than expected. I never received confirmation that I purchased any of my items. Which for me meant security just in case I never received the package. The food I bought from Chewy was 6-$12 more than in store. But I can say customer service deserves a higher ranking because he offered to refund my money and requested I donate the unopened food to my local pet shelter. Hoping my refund will be here by Friday. I’ll update if it is.

Chewy is selling a product that kills hamsters, and they won't even post my review on their website. It's unconscionable. Please do not buy the Kaytee CritterTrail 2-Level Habitat. The water bottle did not work, and our poor hamster died of dehydration. Update: I ordered some brain-stimulating puzzles for my dog. When OnTrac lost my shipment, Chewy sent me a free replacement order, plus gave me a discount for the trouble. I think that's pretty darn good.

Already having problems with Petsmart since aquiring Chewy. The first time an on-line chat was supposed to give me a 20% discount for a problem, that never happened. The 2nd time one box was delivered with the heavy items packed on top of smaller items (can you say crushed)? Then the 2nd box was delivered another day. Any information on where to start shopping with another pet company would be appreciated.

Another order of cat food, another case of damaged cans. Service is generally good and quick, but the products received are often damaged. I'm not sure if this is the packaging or handling, but it is a consistent issue with orders from chewy.

Always got great service from CHEWY. Lately takes 2-3 days to receive cat food when always took 1 day. Service has deteriorated since PETSMART bought CHEWY over.
