Have used Chewy for several years. They have been reliable and more inexpensive than most companies for pet food and cat litter. We also use their pet pharmacy and have been happy until a week ago. Being able to depend on receiving my pet's medications on time is vital to my pet's health. When one of my pet's meds was unavailable and backordered, I received no email, no notice that I would not receive the medication. I ran out of the medication and had to resort to a different, less than optimal, medication. I am now ordering my pet's meds through another company, and will no longer use Chewy for my pets' meds.

Whether it is high prices or slow shipping, Chewy has nothing for you. The prices are no different than you would find on Amazon or some other online shipper, however Amazon will ship much faster. Chewy apparently has like an Amish delivery service. You could walk to the fulfillment centers faster. When you order something, you get no indication of whether it is in stock or out of stock. You don't know until you watch the order for a week with it not being shipped, then you know you've been screwed. Terrible business model with non-existent customer support. Hard pass.

If you are waiting for them to attach the authorization for your dog food, be prepared to WAIT WAIT WAIT and WAIT. No worries its just your dogs health at stake!

bought 2 Frisco Camo Print Insulated Dog & Cat Zippered Coats, Green. they were nice but the fabric is very thin and fragile and my pups destroyed their coats the first wearing. I tried to leave a review on the chewy website but 'something went wrong' using 3 different browsers. I think you are only allowed to leave a review there if you've received a free product

Unfortunately, their service has declined tremendously over the last few months. If you need your food, do not believe the 1-3 days advertised on the site. More like 5-7 days minimum. Items also sit for several days (this time 4 days) and apparently are not investigated as to why. The "customer service" offered is minimal at best.

An ongoing issue is placing an order for things showing in stock then receiving an email when order is being filled that items are not in stock. Process needs to be updated to pull from inventory when an order is placed instead of when it’s being filled!

I await FedEx delivery of Chewy order shipped 12/9; it has been out for delivery 4 times. Chewy kindly offered a replacement and partial refund due to delay. Now that order due 12/17 has been out for delivery twice - maybe will come today; just in case it doesn't need to go buy locally. The issue is with FedEx out of 1/2 locations in GA where I've had poor delivery experiences before.

I live in Colorado. I placed my very first order with Chewy.com on 12-2-21, it consisted of 2 cat litter boxes and 5 small items. The small items were sent out first on 12-3-21 and we're set to arrive originally on 12-7-21 but on that date they had just left Charlotte, NC and they are now scheduled to arrive today (12-9-21) but it is 8:25 p.m. and it has still not arrived but at least it is said to be in Colorado according to the tracking the last update was approx. 3:50 this afternoon and they were approx. 2.5 hours away. The cat litter boxes were sent out separately a day after the first box on 12-4-21 and they both arrived at my home on 12-7-21. I don't understand why I haven't gotten the first box and why it was sitting in Charlotte, NC for 3 days before being sent out. Doubtful I will order from here again!
