Chewy was good before Covid 19. I am sure they picked up alot of new customers and put existing customers effectively on hold. Shipment are "Preparing for Shipment" for over a week at a time. You are unable to cancel these shipments that are "Preparing for Shipment" My cats and dogs need food and cannot wait for whenever they feel like shipping. Back to the pet store we go during the pandemic.

This was my first time ordering from Chewy. With my discount I paid $110.66 for my order of Revolution for my cat. My order was made on 4 May 2020... tomorrow is 10 May 2020 and the order details still say PREPARING FOR SHIPMENT. This is my first and last time using Chewy. I could have went to my local veterinarian and had my order on the same day. I am not impressed at all by Chewy! If I could give zero stars I would.

Order placed 4/29/20. "Guaranteed delivery 5/7/20". 5/7/20 came and went. then guaranteed delivery 5/8/20. 5/8/20 came and went ----go figure. Now delivery date is "pending". Who uses a company like FedEx who can't deliver on "guarantees"? Chewy.com, that's who. Horrible, horrible, horrible. And, yet, when explaining all details to chewy.com customer service rep, she continually praised Chewy. Brainwashing????

Pre-Covid-19, this was a good company to deal with. That seems to have changed since the Pandemic. As other reviewers have noted, this company seems ill equipped to deal with the challenges of dealing with customers, fulfilling orders, or anything else apparently. I've placed orders from many companies since the lockdown began and this company is by far the absolute worse in every way. I am hoping that I eventually get my order, but am less optimistic by the day. When I call to inquire, now that I'm past the stated time frame and it has supposedly shipped (although Fed Ex never updates the tracking), their customer service reps couldn't be less interested in helping me figure out what has happened to my order. Do yourself a favor and SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I started buying food and supplies from Chewy a long time before they sold to Petsmart. At first nothing seems different so I continued. However in the past 2 months their service has taken a nosedive. Now they try to get me to order my autoship a week or more early, and they still take 2 weeks to deliver it usually without one or more items. I think when they are out of stock they dawdle either trying to find some, while the customer order is further delayed or they try to encourage customers to order something to replace the out of stock item, usually cat food in cans. Today they sent email saying if I didn’t call them to update my order they will cancel it. Really, is that the way to treat loyal paying customers?

Horrible service!

Just received our every 2 month supply of food for my pup. Everything looked great until we opened up on the box. Inside the box and the bag was covered in ants!!! We checked outside to see if they came in from the ground but there was no trail of ants anywhere. Which means they came from inside the box. It was absolutely disgusting and i just hope that there isn't a hole inside the bag where they went into. We checked and we didn't see anything but now i do not feel comfortable feeding this food to my dog knowing that the entire box and bag was covered in ants with a chance of ant being inside the bag. Rethinking about using chewy again.

Ordered puppy necessities over 2 weeks ago, told items would be received within 7-10 days due to covid19 protocols. It’s now over 2 weeks and nothing. Blamed fedex. Customer service rep was very matter of fact, obstinate and basically too bad attitude. I’ve shopped with them in the past, always treated great. This guy was awful.
