The food delivery is great but they need to get out of the pharmacy business. Five days and still no shipment on either of my orders despite numerous assurances that my order was about to ship. And this is includes two days wasted becuase they could fax the prescription request to my vet. My vet has a receptionist just to answer calls but Chewy insisted they could never rach anyone. I won't make this mistake again and will be cancelling my prescription autoship.

If I could give Chewy's pharmacy less than one star, I absolutely would. My dog has kidney disease and I give him subcutaneous fluids, which I've been purchasing from Chewy. About half the time, they put several heavy bags of fluid in a carton that isn't strong enough and it is damaged in transit. Twice, the carrier has returned the shipment before it even reached me and once I refused the soaking wet box when it arrived. I've complained to CS and sometimes, they do a better job of packing, but usually not. My most recent shipment was damaged in transit (no doubt due to their inadequate packaging) and returned by the carrier. You would think when this happens, they would replace the order right away. Nope. When I contacted Chewy CS to find out when the replacement would ship, I was told that a replacement order is processed the same as any other pharmacy order - they need to review and determine if there are still refills available and if not, they have to contact the vet for authorization. For an order that was approved and shipped but never made it to me because it was damaged due to their inadequate packaging. I'm done with them.

I’m giving only 1 star due to my recent experience ordering Rx for my dogs. I placed the order 1 month ago and provided my vet info for them to contact for approval, (the site says it is faster if they do the contacting). I have called 4 times to check on the status of this and was told they were not getting replies from my vet. I called my vet who said they had not received any requests. My vet also told me that many of their other patients have reported having similar issues with chewy recently. I think we may have this almost resolved. Not 100% sure, I Still do not have the meds. Only time will tell. I’m not sure what the issue is, but if there was an issue with the order or my vet then, WHY WAS I NEVER CALLED? I Had to call them to check on this issue. This is not good customer service! I will order toys and other supplies from them but I’m not sure I’ll do Rx again. This is not something I need delayed!

They are the absolute worst! They needed a full week to process my dogs medical prescription......unreal. Then another 3-4 days for the meds to arrive. Next time I'll just pay the extra cost of getting it from the vet.....at least then I wont have to wait two weeks for these losers to send me my dogs meds.

Chewy.com has the WORST customer service. I have been dealing with them for months. Their RX division is horrendous. I think everyone is working at home and none of them care or are concerned about their customers.

We paid $50 for a hamster cage, but I wouldn’t even pay $20 for it. The material was just cheap plastic, and some pieces were breaking. It took us somewhere around two hours to put it together, as some of the pieces didn’t quite fit properly. We were glad when we were done with it. The experience was not the most enjoyable. This was our first time using Chewy.com, but we will never buy anything else from them. It was overall a disappointing experience.

If I could give a negative start rating, I would! I signed up with Chewy to get my dog's medication at almost a 50% savings over what my vet charges and it would be shipped for free! Well, July was my first order. I received it in just a couple of days, but noticed that they had said "No Refills" on the package. I had a follow-up visit with my vet and asked her about it. She told me that she had authorized 6 months of medication! While I was still there, she called Chewy and let them know so I assumed it was corrected. Well fast forward to August. I placed my refill order when I was down to just about 2 weeks of medication left. Order placed on August 20 then on August 31, I recieved an email that my vet hadn't approved the refill and they would cancel the order the next day! I called "Customer Service" (using that name very liberally) and they said it was because my vet hadn't authorized it. I turned around and called my vet who said it showed in the chart that it had been faxed and they had called. I called Chewy back and got the same answer. They re-faxed the form to my vet and (you guessed it) I called my vet again. They filled the form out AGAIN and faxed it right back. I called on September 1 to Chewy. Again was told my vet hadn't authorized it. Another call to the vet. I waited until the end of the day and reached out to Chewy again. Ended up asking for a Pharmacy Supervisor. Well, again, was told they didn't have the authorization but he would look. Low and behold, he found the authorization from JULY!! Now here it is July 2 and it STILL hasn't shipped. I called them today and they said "we're sorry but we'll reimburse you for the cost of the pills if you have to have it filled in the interim". Well, let's see - who is going to reimburse me for my lost time at work because the vet closes before I get off work and they don't open until after I'm at work! Needless to say, I will be filing complaints everywhere that I know how to. Do yourself a favor - spend the extra money and get your prescriptions from your vet. The aggravation isn't worth the money you will save.

DONT ORDER PET MEDS FROM CHEWY Their pharmacy department is very hit or miss. About half of the time it takes a week or longer to get your meds, even when your vet’s office approves it right away. My order was put in on Wednesday, approved by the vet on Saturday. Yesterday (Tuesday) I called because it still hadn’t shipped, and got the excuse that Chewy has a contractual agreement with Fedex and they don’t ship on Sundays or Mondays. I was promised my order would go out yesterday, and be “expedited”, but when I called today (because surprise surprise it still hasn’t shipped) there is no record of that conversation with the pharmacy person Shannon. Such utter BS! My dog needs this medication, but Chewy doesn’t care. In reading the other reviews here it’s clear Chewy doesn’t care if pets die due to their incompetence. Never again. I’ll gladly pay more at CVS to make sure there is no lapse in my dog’s medications.
