Chewy.comReviews of chewy.com

Full disclosure by Customer Service SHOULD BE.....telling each and every customer when placing an order for $50 plus bags of food $30 plus boxes of litter that they will take ALL your hard earned money for the product at times orders exceed $100 plus dollars THEN they will ship a 50 pound order in ONE 75 CENT CARDBOARD BOX and tape it with 2 for dollar dollar store scotch tape and it sooooo heavy by the time it reaches your house not only is it BUSTED OPEN but it’s soooo heavy that the delivery driver won’t bring it up to your door!!!!!! Chewy INLY cares about making the sale they will jack up prices but oddly won’t invest in a sturdy box to ensure your product isn’t damaged upon arrival!!!!!

I just purchased a case of pedigree choice cuts steak and veg flavor cans among other things. Other items were great and this review is more a warning then complaint. I believe my case was spoiled and will never order cans from chewy again. Storage and shipping conditions are not in control. Just an fyi. Every other thing ordered in past eat great

I ordered chewy for the convenience of having food delivered to my door every two weeks I have an issue where I have to call. And every time I talk to the person on the phone they tell me it’s taken care of. Then the next two weeks comes up and I have to call again because of the same issue. I have it on AutoShip and it still it’s not send we’re done correctly. Now I placed my order on the eighth because of their mess up, that they said they had corrected, I now have to wait until the 14th to get my food. Again auto ship is so I don’t have to worry about dog food and now I have to go spend more money because they can’t get their AutoShip correct. I’m canceling my account and will deal with a vendor that can get it correct

I have received two orders now from chewy.com. In the first order I received dented cans of wet dog food. One of them was so bad that I threw it in the trash. The second order, which I received today, had a bunch of dented cans and one busted. There was dog food spillage. The packaging is not very good for shipping these products. When I tried to post a review on chewy.com, I kept getting "Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again." (Photos were within chewy.com's guidelines, as was everything else.) Maybe there was a glitch...several times. I don't know. At any rate, when I contacted Chewy's customer service via live chat, I was refunded $2.00 for all of those dented and busted cans.

Chewy may be a good place to buy dog toys but their pharmacy is HORRIBLE. I sent my prescription in the mail as they requested. It took them over six weeks to receive it and they claimed this is normal in their area. This was so slow that the prescription actually expired while it was lost in their system and they couldn't be bothered to contact the vet for a refill/new script. Buy locally stay away from this pharmacy

In need a med for my dog. Chewy could not process in a timely manner. Went with another RX provider at more money but dont expect the dalays.

Very disappointed. Twice now I have ordered medication in advance on my pers prescription coming due. I don't know how everyone else gets this amazing fast shipping, but my first order took several days after my vet approved the prescription before it shipped. We got our other dogs medication thru another pet med site as a test to see if it was just the mail. Nope! That order was received within 3 days of placing it - that includes shipping time & vet approval. But, everyone told me it must be a fluke . Chewy is great. They said they've always received 2 day shipping. So, I gave them another try. That was the worst mistake I could make!! It was a refill so no vet approval required. It took 3 days for my order to be given to the carrier. And they have apparently shipped first class (not two day shipping as I was told) so it will now be another 5 days before my medication is received (and that is only if there are no delays in transit). So that means my little girl will be chewing herself to bleeding again for 3 days without any medication because the order was not shipped 2day shipping as it was supposed to! And Chewy's CS response to that? A canned response reiterating the date 5 days out. When I express my unhappiness with them simply repeating a shipping date, I finally get a human response saying to let them know if I have to purchase a few days meds in between now & the shipping date. However, as I told them, I do not have the funds to pay out of pocket for more at the moment. Also, the vet will not write for more until after our visit at the end of the month for blood work. When I explain this, the human compassion is gone & I get yet another canned response stating the shipping date from yet another rep because apparently the same representative can not respond twice. So you have to repeat yourself over & over because they can only see the most recent message. We are a family on one disability income & I can't afford things like this. We budget for everything. This medication is well out of our budget but we sacrificed elsewhere because our girl needs it. But I can't make money appear out of nowhere or make the vet write an extra small prescription because they didn't ship how they were supposed to. I should never have given the second chance.

The worst experience ever. I ordered feed for my baby goats upon late delivery i contacted customer service asked for a little compensation as i had to drive 45 min to get some feed while i waited. 2 days later contacted customer service said they would refund and that my item would be here. 2 days later the tracking shows as returned. i have not been refunded and i kept all my conversations promising the order would arrive day after day and that it was not cancelled, It was This has been a nightmare for me NEVER AGAIN!!!
