Five Stars! I had used Chewy (the original Chewy) and always had 5 star results, without fail, EVERY time. Then it became PetSmart property and after they purchased it, it just became a BIG gamble on (in) what shape your merchandise would arrive - you never knew - depending on which warehouse it came from, it seemed. I stopped using them (there's always a plan B) for quite awhile. I did decide to try them again and was really surprised to see the delivered package packed PERFECT, just like the original Chewy used to send out. I was wondering how long that would last. I ordered 2 more times, same order and same result, GREAT packing. The 4th order was a bit larger, it included litter and some semi-soft treats, as opposed to just the food (case/cans and 6.6lb. bag). I happened to be home when FedEx arrived, he was without his manifest, so he opened the rear door and right away I knew which Chewy box was mine, though there were 6 (counting mine) in there. Mine was the POPPED OPEN BOX, almost a 40lb box with 1piece of tape across the top and 1THIN piece of corrugated paper board and 1 VERY SMALL piece of paper, with the merchandise THROWN in the box and room to rock around all through it's trip! And it did! Smashed treats, and even crushed dry food. Thanks a big bunch, Clayton IN. warehouse. PetSmart just doesn't seem to get it. They are not consistent (in many ways) and don't seem to put in or try for any effort to improve in those areas. As long as your not expecting too much, you'll do okay with them. I'll go with Plan B. :o)

I tried getting my dogs heartworm medicine from them and they continued to say they couldn’t get in touch with my vet. When I asked my vet, they said nobody from Chewy contacted them. Chewy cancelled my order and would not send my dogs heartworm medicine. We will not be using Chewy again.

Chewy isca crappy co. I deliver to the warehouse where you peoples things you order comes from. I have been sitting here for 5 hours waiting on these slow ass people ro do their job. These people do not care about anything or anyone. I have never seen such a slow ass company in my life. I have looked at their prices and compared them with other places. They are not cheaper. You are just paying for the convenience of not having to take it in your house. Which you still have to do cause they don't take it inside for you. So what are you saving?

I ordered arthritis medication for my dog. After speaking with my Vet, Chewy sent me an email that his prescription was approved. After a week I contacted them and they told me it was not approved! Now I am out of medication. They promised to call me back and NEVER DID!! Chewy is terrible and my pet is now in pain. I gave them plenty of time to fill the prescription but they just don’t care. Go to 1800petmeds or anywhere else.

I have been a Chewy customer for several years, and until this year have considered their customer service to be excellent. The time before last was average. What happened day before yesterday (October 21, 2020) makes me think that a one-star rating is too good. I went to Chewy's site to add to my Autoshipment. The price on their main site was $9.85 but when I went to add it to my order it was $10.92 (I took pictures of the screens). Called customer service who insisted that I had to pay the higher price, and she would let IT know about the discrepancy. When I said that that made no sense because Chewy had posted the lower price, she hung up on me. I called back to talk to a supervisor and got another agent. I told her what had happened and she "transferred" me to a supervisor. After several minutes of "muzak" the line disconnected. Definitely never ordering from Chewy again!!!!!!!

First 2 times we ordered, the shipper left it sitting on the steps while raining, instructed to leave on back porch, than today charged us for $ 400 worth of dog food after ordering only 1 bag, than call them very rude customer service and unhelpful, so have to wait for the 4 bags of food, send them back at our expense than wait another week to get our refund. Will never use them again and will do everything in my power to make sure anybody else I know doesn't either.

This was only my second time ordering from Chewy. We ahve a new dog and I wanted a subscription for the food we need to feed her. Set it up and when the food arrived it was not what I ordered. Called customer service and she argued with me that it was what I ordered. told me she could email me the order proving it was what I ordered. I pulled it up on my computer. It wasn't. Told me full refund. It wasn't. Next day i had to call again for the other half of my money. Canceled everything!

Almost every single shipment has broken/smashed items. I complain about this every time it happens, and they send out replacements, which are not usually the correct replacements. Also, the replacements arrive smashed and broken. They pack heavy 40lb bags of litter with animal treats that get smashed. I really don't want extra smashed stuff. I just want my treats to be intact, as they are hard, chew treats for hamsters. They're expensive and it's important for them to chew. I have deleted my auto-shipment and figured out how to get all of my items elsewhere for the same price. Something needs to change in their shipping department.
