Came recommended by our dogs trainer. I have a border collie that we wanted to put a GPS on his collar. Live in Florida and going to Virginia needed GPS for in the woods. It was suggested by the person I placed the order with that i should send it to the address i was going to in VA so we would be sure to have it since shipping would take up to 3 days. GPS should have been there today or by tomorrow. That's Monday or Tuesday this week. Was ordered last week. Got call today was flagged for fraud because I setup account with Chewy in the name of Gene and my Credit card has Eugene on it. I appreciate the security but to call us on the day it was to arrive to question the name is unsatisfactory. Does everyone that sets up an account in the name of Bill but the credit card says William get flagged for fraud? I will let my dogs trainer know that her suggestion to use Chewy was well intended but CHEWY FAILED. I will pass this along on my Facebook page and to all my border collie followers to use Caution when ordering

Chowy.com shipping is terrible. I ordered twice from them both times I did not get the product. Showed me shipped then date of arrival after that day went to pending and I never saw the product.

Horrible product. Almost killed my dog!

Put so much stuff in one box, that the dog food bags exploded. Third time this has happened and they did not even offer to replace the exploded bag of food which is everywhere. Will be shopping elsewhere.

prescription autoship order for meds was lost 3 times over 2 week period. chewy kept blaming vet. i went to vet 3rd time to see actual faxing to chewy. they still deny receiving. worst online retailer EVER

I have had two experiences with Chewy.com. Both times I had ordered tick prevention medication needed for my dog. Because these medications need a prescription, they ask at checkout whether you want to provide a prescription from your vet that you obtain yourself or have Chewy contact your vet directly to obtain the prescription. They recommend that chewy contacts your vet directly claiming that this is the faster option and that this will be easier for you as the customer. Thinking that this would be faster and hassle-free, I naively selected this option. Instead, I soon found myself to be the middleman...calling chewy first who said that they never received the prescription and told me to call the vets office. I then called the vets office confirmed that they sent the prescription days ago. Back again I went calling chewy to confirm they received the fax. The first time, I made 3 calls to chewy and 2 calls to the vets office and finally the prescription went through and the medication was shipped to me. The second time, I was the last straw. I made three calls to chewy and two calls to the vet. My vet sent the prescription over to chewy on November 6th...on November 16th chewy claimed they “never received” the faxed prescription. I made the appropriate calls with my vet, saying they re-sent the prescription over promptly. The next day, I get an email saying that my order has been cancelled because they never received my prescription! I called chewy one last time and they stated that they can take a verbal order from the vet but I would have to re-order the medication online from their website to start the process all over again! I will never waste my time with this company again. Making their customers act as the middleman to fix their incompetent mistakes is a poor business model. The fact that this same thing happened to me not once, but twice, shows that this is the common poor practice of this company.

Chewy used to be great. Now not so much. Been on the phone several times with them and the shipper and never got my order. After escalating the issue never got a call back. Than they said they sent a refund but was not reflected in my statement. Extremely disappointing!!

They had no problem taking my money weeks ago, said they didn't get my prescription until yesterday or maybe two days ago when I sent it two weeks ago. This is for flea and tick meds. Won't expedite the order because they have to go through corporate to have that approved. So now we are talking another week in which I will continue to pick off fleas from my dog. Customer service was the worst, and just as useless to talk to a manager. Empower your staff! The person that answered the phone had attitude and was coughing in my ear (very loud). Would never recommend this company and will be happy to share my feeling with anyone that asks me. You will be out of business soon if this is the way you do business.
