Chewy's entire "thing" is 1-3 day shipping and up to now, they've been great at that. So imagine my surprise when I placed an order yesterday and then checked its status today, only to find that it won't be delivered for another 5 (FIVE!!!!) days. So 1-3 days is actually SIX days. Just get it locally, you say? I would, but my cat is on prescription food, and it's not available locally. And I only have 4 cans left. Should I have ordered further ahead? On reflection, of course. Will I ever not order ahead again? No. But Chewy gets some of the blame here for advertising 1-3 days and clearly not meaning it. Will never shop there again.

personally i dont care for them. the agents know nothing about their products. no help there. some of them dont want to even help you find what you need but then they have no knowledge of any of their products. thats ridiculous. they make you have to buy so much for free shipping? maybe i cant buy that much or need that much every time? im forced to buy more to get free shipping. they wont work with you at all. by the time i pay for their high minimum amount to get free shipping ive spent more money. or pay the shipping on a couple of items forget it. i can buy them for less elsewhere. lower the minimum! make it easier on us. oh i guess if you have some big dog or dogs and need alot of stuff. i have one little one. forget them. i buy from better companies. i dont like their unreasonable service bad agents. no help.

These guys are very slow, about shipping pet supplies. Service had been very slow. When order from this company. You have a lot time And pantice.

First, the positive: they ship blindingly fast. And, their prices are competitive with local outlets. But then there is the bad. My last order was for 2 cases of 40 cans of cat food. I received 2 cases, one with 40 cans, one with 32. Not a huge difference in price, but also not what I ordered. Direct contact with the company yielded basically we're not going to fix it. Went through PayPal, which I had used to pay for the order. The response to PayPal was that Chewy would refund my purchase price if I merely shipped both cases back AT MY EXPENSE. Big case of "fool me once....." Amazingly bad attitude.

Cancelled my order for no particular reason. Been a customer for years. Placed online order, after 4 days, instead of shipping it, they just cancelled it with no reason. After calling in, customer service said it was routine. Instead of clearing it up and sending the order, they kept asking me stupid questions about my pet. Will never order again. Buy from AMAZON! Better prices, customer service and faster shipping!!

I've ordered from chewy a handful of times and their shipment never comes in 1-3 days even pre pandemic. But my problem is I signed up with auto shipment and we got a large bag of 9 lives 20lb, purina one tender bites, 1lb temptations cat treats and the 42lb of scoop away litter in our auto shipment. 4 months ago the total came to $41 every auto shipment after that has went up steadily in price. My last auto shipment was $56 for that stuff...so im just scratching my head and told myself this pandemic is really impacting everything. This morning I wake up to an email saying they are discontinuing selling the 9 lives so they took it off my auto shipment. I scroll down and with the 9 lives taken off the new price is $57! How in the world is it costing even more still with an item that they removed gone?! Weird part is I went to their site to see if they had ANY nine lives left that I could add to the shipment and the flavor they said they were discontinuing is not only still on the website but IN STOCK!! Wth man... Needless to say I no longer have auto shipment and I will stick to amazon for my pet food needs from here on out. Ridiculous they would treat their returning customers in such a way.

HORRIBLE COMPANY. ILLEGALLY CHARGING MY CREDIT CARD OVER AND OVER AND SAID THEY WOULD STOP BUT STILL CHARGING. In 2 days $600 of charges and believe me people there are reputable companies with the same prices you can go to and not be screwed like they do people

I have had nothing but headaches from this company. I have been with them for over a yr. they do good for about 3 months then my order gets canceled unbeknown to me. I call and they’ve charged it to a old credit card account that’s suppose to have been eliminated. So my order’s late and we have to go buy food. Then when they say it should arrive it doesn’t. They have a great concept they just don’t know how to make it work and I’m tired of excuses.
