3 times I tried to order prescription dog from the website. A prescription is required for this food. The prescription is on file as my last purchase of this dog food was made in February. The first customer representative locked me out of my account. The second representative told me to wait 2 hours and then try again. That didn't work. The third representative just plain didn't care about any of it. After all of this, its easier for me to drive an hour to my vets office, pay more and get it that way. They really need to improve their website function and their customer service.

What a bizarre experience with Barbara from Chewy’s pharmacy department. She called to let me know the prescription medication I placed an order for requires me to mail the prescription which I already knew but it’s nice of them to notify me about. But then when I said that I mailed the prescription 2 days ago and that they should be receiving it shortly she goes “I doubt it” She then went silent (checking whether they’ve received it which I knew they wouldn’t yet) and couple of minutes later just says “no we don’t have it, thank you” and hangs up before I could say anything else. I literally went “huh?”

I had an autoship order with Chewy for a while. I heard that they were making anti American policies regarding conservatives, so I wrote an email to them about it. They did not respond to me at all and closed my account.

Chewy has for the past year been in a steady decline. In my experiences they have not completely filled the orders, and the shipping times are unacceptable. My most recent shipment was supposed to here two days ago. It has now been delayed 4 more days according to their help line. The tracking number is no longer able to be tracked on their website. What’s interesting is my auto ship has shipped another order before I have received my last order. This has happened before. This is actually the fourth time it has happened in the last few months. Unacceptable. When I asked customer service their response is to blame it on their shipping partners. Well, no one else has a problem shipping to me just Chewy. You are losing a customer and I know u don’t care. Just another big company that makes promises and can’t deliver. Stay away.

Chewy is continually out of the products I order. I have not had good luck with them. Decided to go back to getting my pet supplies in the store.

Ordered a small trimmer for fur betweens pads and ordered a joint related soft chew. The trimmer didnt trim the fur. Was extremely loud. The soft chews must have been old or stored wrong because they were hard and must have been spoiled because dogs woukdnt eat them. These dogs love the same soft chew when I buy it from other pet store. Exact same chew. It is my opinion chewy sells at a slight discount because they are selling trash that other store either dont want or dispose of. I had ordered dry dog food once from chewy about 2 years ago and the 25 lb bag was full of maggots. Thought it was just a fluke until this order. I do not recommend Chewy.

In February my vet put my dog on heart medication, and faxed a prescription to from Chewy's pharmacy. Four days later Chewy canceled the order saying they had not received authorization (the prescription.) My vet assured me authorization was sent the day she saw my dog, and when I contacted Chewy they said, "Oh yes, it has been sitting here for four days, sorry." I got them to expedite the medicine, which duly arrived. Three days ago, my dog saw the vet again who placed my dog on this medication for the rest of her life and faxed through a prescription again. This time, I phoned my order into Chewy and a nice man said he had the authorization and would send out the order. Today, I get an email saying Chewy has canceled the order because they have not received the authorization! (again). I have phoned Chewy and again they have misplaced the authorization and my dog will not receive her medication for at least 10 days, so I have canceled the order and will never use the Chewy pharmacy again. If you have any sense, don't use them, they are very disorganized and your pet could suffer because of their incompetency.

I ordered a cage, and a few other items. After 5 days of not receiving a shipping notice I contacted Chewy. They said my order was behind but I’d receive it on the 24th. Today I emailed again after still not getting a shipping notice (8 days after order was placed). They replied that my cage is out of stock and that my order would be cancelled!! They did offer a 5% discount on my next order, but I’ll not be using it as I won’t order thru them again. If I’d known this earlier I could have already ordered the cage from Amazon and had it here. The only reason I ordered thru Chewy is because I wanted the 6 other sale items I ordered which I’m not even getting now.
