As a first time customer I ordered a personalized dog tag from Chewy. I put all the information in the address line, but somehow Chewy stated that they didn’t have my unit number. Instead of leaving the package with my front office, they immediately canceled my order, returned my package to the warehouse, and did not inform me of a refund. When I asked them to ship it back they stated that I would have to either pay more money now or wait 5 business days to get my money back then reorder…a complete inconvenience. This first order went so badly that I will never order from them again!!!

Last month the tracking on my auto ship disappeared. I called cheery.com and they couldn’t track my package either. So, they sent me a new one, which took a week to come. Meanwhile, I ran out of everything and had to buy from the store. I spend $100 a month in animal food so it’s not a small chunk to be spending twice. This months order was messed up too! I checked my bank account and they took the money out twice, checked the tracking and said the package I actually ordered was delivered yesterday. It wasn’t. So “I can keep the mistake order” which will be here in two days, so I will be buying from the store AGAIN! And they will refund one order(since I didn’t get it) but that will take up to five days. I will be canceling my auto ship and not ordering again. I don’t have time to track lost packages and spend twice (this month three times) the money.

Incompetent and unreliable… cost me an extra 60$ to fix their mistake beware if you’re ordering prescriptions!!

Fed-Ex Ground renders Chewy useless. (I quit subscription several years ago getting fancy chow for dog with allergies no pet store would make available locally.) Unless a bargain you don't care gets stolen or wet, because Fed-Ex could care less if stolen or wet. At Chewy's customer service insistence, I have attempted conversations with local distribution about both drive by bandits and desire for under porch roof delivery. Enough said, but will add porch is only 20 feet from the rural road. We will talk again when UPS is a free shipping choice.

I purchased the following toy for my lovebird, "Super Bird Creations Crinkle Crinkle Little Star Bird Toy, Small By Super Bird Creations" This toy has a ball of twine in the center. My lovebirds foot got tangled in the twine and needed to have intervention to untangle. Had I not been present I believe my bird would have been seriously injured or even killed by this toy. Chewy was immediately notified and has yet to remove the toy from there website. The manufacturer of the toy "Super Bird creations didn't even have the courtesy to reply to my messages. Please do not buy anything from Chewy as they simply ignore reports of dangerous products and keep selling them.

I'm done with Chewy! Placed an order on July 2nd, said it was shipped on that day. It is now the 11th! Every day it says "out for delivery" then it changes to Pending. Chewy was no help. They don't tell you any shipping info until after you place your order. Shipment spent 4 days in North Carolina, I live in AZ. Was told warehouse close to me didn't have the products I ordered. Now it says will be delivered on the 12th! Really! 10 days. They should be contacting FedEx, not me. If they're having so many problems with FedEx they need to change carriers. I'm in a rural area, had to drive 33 miles to get cat food last night. I'm done with them. I work for a Veterinarian & will be telling our clients who use Chewy to find another online pharmacy for their pets.

Do not ever believe you will get your order within 2-3 days. It is hit or miss with them. 7 times out of 10 my order takes at least a week. It is convenient to order and there is lots of variety. However, they need to change their delivery time on the site.

We run a rescue and have ordered from Chewy for 2 years. We had problems with them last year so we stopped for a while. We finally thought maybe they changed so we went back to them. NOPE!! Still take monies out of our account way before they are supposed to which causes overdraft fees that they claim they have reimbursed us for but haven't. We were told that those refunds were " stuck in the system" and that this info would be passed onto their team for processing. Nope! still hasn't happened. When you specify a date to be drafted it is illegal to pull from an account before that date. If they do this to us then how many more has this happened too? Stop lying to your customers. Refund the 152.00 promised over the last year.
