How about sending coupons to your customers who have been with you for years! Rather than only offering them to new customers who normally will only spend a small amount, versus your regular customers who spend large amounts of money every month!!!

Been ordering form Chewy for a while now....Products are as advertised, however every other order will suddenly be late. Does Customer Service for Chewy care? Nope...all they do is issue the standard corporate prepared reply: (You are a valued customer...and we work hard to make sure your products are there on time....however due to "Insert Excuse for today" your shipment should arrive soon...you may call customer service for more information) Once you get this every other order it gets old. Does Chewy try to offer a guest something for their inconveniences, nope! Do they care if you go to PetSmart or 1800Pet Meds...Nope. That Attitude alone makes me want to do business with their competitors that might care if I spend money with them...and make mistakes right!

A lot of products. Seems a bit congested.

Quality of FF Cod, Sole & Shrimp Feast Classic Pate lot # 10041160L21332119 best by Jan 2023. Product has funny smell and three cats refused to even try let alone eat the food. Wasted 5 cans to trash - what remedy? If brick retail would return for another flavor selection. Contacted Customer Service - reply was: "We know how disappointing it can be to receive an item that just doesn't work, so we're going to do everything we can to make this process quick and easy. Would you like for us to send you a replacement for the item? I've sent a formal complaint to the warehouse that packed this to have this addressed immediately We always want you to have the best experience possible with us, and I cannot apologize enough that we have dropped the ball. I want to assure you that we take your concerns very seriously. When we receive these types of emails, we hear you, and they don't go ignored. We never want you to feel as though we're not here for you. " Issue remains unresolved - why the same item and results? Unless you meet the free S&H $ - outbound is $4.95 and no less on return. Amount equals 1/2 the case of cat food. Purchaser/customers have to realize if all goes okay - great but the price point is generally equal to your local retail outlets. Periodic sales rotating on food items. But if an issue, it is not easily resolved notwithstanding polite CS exchange.

Chewy advertises free 1-3 day shipping on orders over $49 but despite having ordered from them multiple times, I've rarely received the order within this time frame. The vast majority of my orders have taken over 1 week to arrive. Maybe this has to do with where I'm located (Pacific Northwest) since I've seen other reviewers raving about getting their items quickly, but this has been consistent problem for me. The tracking information usually says it'll arrive in around 3 days but on the day it's supposed to arrive is changed to a later date or removed entirely. They really shouldn't advertise 1-3 day shipping if they're not capable of doing it. I've contacted their customer service a few times to check on orders that I needed quickly and they've always been helpful. They usually blame chewy's shipping partner (fedex) for the delay because they apparently don't deliver for them on Sunday-Monday. When I've pointed out that even if you don't count those 2 days (which btw isn't mentioned anywhere on their site), my delivery date is STILL over 3 days they don't have an answer but have either sent the items again or given a partial refund. Really nice to get two of a couple things for the price of one, but that doesn't help it get here any faster when I'm running out of cat food. Still, great customer service but I wouldn't count on chewy for anything time sensitive.

Normally super but last order came with crushed cans and a treat box that was deliberately crushed to fit it into the shipping box! One can that wasn't crushed that I opened the next day was MOLDY! They gave me a refund for damaged stuff.

Since Petsmart purchased Chewy the service has declined. They now use Ontrak for delivery in our area (LA) not Fedex. Ontrack is horrible. I live in a semi-rural area and Ontrak has repeatedly mis-delivered my packages to who knows were. I have had to report mis-deliveries and have the items reshipped several times. Ontrack delivers down the road and throws my packages in the dirt by the side of the road rather than driving up the hill to my home (we live on 23 acres). I have reported them to Chewy 4 different times and each time been told they will only use Fedex. However, today 12/16 my husband "caught" the driver trying to leave the package of Rx meds at the gate (wide open) and house within sight by 40 feet. Driver was too lazy to drive up to the house to leave it on the porch. I called Chewy, reported it again and told them I will no longer use them for my RX med deliveries. IF I see any food or other merchandise deliveries not delivered by FEDEX I will discontinue all use of them and purchase elsewhere or at my local store. It's sad that Petsmart are ruining a wonderful company.

Every time place an order with them they leave something out and I have to call them to send it. They are good about sending it without charge and their prices are comparable to others but I’m not sure they are worth the hassle
