After using Chewy auto ship for a few years I can honestly say I’m disgusted with their customer service. I am currently awaiting fedex to refuse yet another shipment. Last night I updated my auto ship as I have a rescue an stock changes month to month, so this morning I wake up an my order has shipped an as I look at the items I noticed one item I ordered 15 of because they were 2.30 had increased to $9 this morning! This cost me over $100 more. Chewy has over charged me by as much as $400 before! I have read several reviews an it seems I’m not alone therefore I’m joining the group that won’t ever order from this company again! Also please note that if you buy one sale item no other listed sale items in your cart will be sale price! They do not advertise it but when you check out you will notice your total is a lot higher. If you give them your bank account number I hope you know that they can take different amounts at different times and say that's the way they do it I have numerous transactions took out my account I have been trying to go to refund but Nidia months I spoke to I don't know how many people they've had me crying because one person says one thing one person says another thing customer service is absolutely disgusting very very bad service whoever said that the customer service here is good is being paid first one person actually said I don't know how they can call you back we haven't got your phone number God's honest truth terrible terrible terrible customer service I called about an hour ago I'm going to talk to the manager that is called me he text her and she said yes I'll call her back I'm still waiting I called back again and she didn't respond so tell me again about the customer service being

I had my second auto shipment scheduled. It was shipped on a Sunday and was scheduled to arrive the following Thursday. My order never arrived. I send them several messages until they finnialy answer. They gave me a 35.00 credit on my credit card which was very nice. Weeks went by and no dog food. I called Chewy up and ask for a refund. The gave me my refund but also took my 35.00 credit away . Chewy blamed it all on FedEx. If they knew they had issues, why were they still using them. Needless to say, I canceled my account with Chewy. They should of sent me another order when I told them my order was lost or stolen.

If you had asked me 2 years ago about Chewy, I would have raved. I absolutely loved their customer service, and the prices for their pet food and toys were decent. I even recommended them to many people. Chewy even made the experience personal, sending birthday (or condolence) cards for your pets and other nice things like that. I have totally changed my opinion of them. I was afraid that things might change once they got more popular, and BOY was I right. The prices are outrageous, and they simply stopped caring about our pets and only care about profits now. The thing that pushed me over the edge was, one time I was almost out of dog food, and I knew it would run out completely before pay day. I asked them if they would please send me a small bag of dry dog food, and I would pay for it in 3 days, on payday. They sent me a very rude reply, accusing me of asking for "donations", which wasn't the case. I simply didn't want my dogs to go hungry for 3 days. That was the day I realized that they no longer care one bit about your pets. My dogs loved their food, and their toys were top-notch, but I'll never purchase anything from them again. On top of that, their policy on free shipping is outrageous. You have to purchase at least $49 each time, and yet their largest bags of dog food are around $48 so you have to buy more if you want to avoid paying shipping. So much for caring about us and our pets. I could cry, it makes me so sad.

I am reviewing here, just non-food products (Frisco brand), sold by Chewy. I've bought food bowls, chew toys, and other dog toys at Chewy. Without exception, every toy item failed to meet my minimum expectations. Every toy, that I've bought and let my dog, (14 year old pug mix), play with had ended up in pieces. I spend more time picking up small scraps of plastic and rope fibers than I do vacuuming my entire home. I should have learned earlier, what I know now; never buy anything new online. Let others get angry and frustrated, and I will look at their written reviews.

Two orders- two disasters. If you value you pet’s health, and need their medication, forget it. My first prescription has been “out for delivery” for three weeks. It’s never arrived but seems to still be sitting in the completely incompetent OnTrac warehouse in Petaluma. They sent another prescription since I’ve been desperate for the medication. Same experience. Tracking packages or actually delivering orders seems to be impossible for them. Everyday- it’s: “Out for delivery today”. This service is beyond bad- it’s dangerous if you love and value your pets well being.

Never spend money with chewy, they have charged me 3 times to refund 2 of them, now they are trying to charge me a 4th time after everything has been paid and take more money out than the order! don't play with my money. So now it's completely paid but one charge is pending, they want to double charge me to release the pending transaction. So unless you have all kinds of extra money you don't need, DO NOT USE CHEWY!

Walmart and Amazon are cheaper and more reliable. Chewy ran out of my dog’s 25 pound bag of food. Did not inform me until almost a week of “waiting” to ship. Called and got a smaller size replacement. “Will ship in 24 to 48 hours”. I call back 48 hours later. “Sorry about that, let me send a message to the warehouse, will be shipped in 24 to 48 hours” I call back 48 hours later, “I’ll send this order to the warehouse as a complaint, sometimes they will ship within the hour of a complaint”. Call back the next day and say if they do not have the food to just let me know so I can get it elsewhere. “Oh yeah guess we are out 🤡”. Meanwhile my dog has been out of her food (don’t worry, she was being spoiled on home cooked meals), but I didn’t want to order from elsewhere as the shipping would be a few weeks, and chewy kept promising 24 to 48 hours. What an absolute joke, I feel strung along. Guess they don’t care about customer service or my pet. Don’t be fooled by the cards they send you. Was the last of my family to to be using chewy, will never order again.
