I recently placed an order with Chewy.com and was disappointed with the experience. While the website was easy to navigate and the selection of products was impressive, my order took much longer to arrive than expected. In addition, some of the items I received were damaged and had to be returned.

Ordered the TRIXIE Natura Classic Dog House with Weatherproof Finish, Elevated Floor. Before it was out of the box I could see footprints covering the package. Once opened and put together you can see how cheap it is. The wood where the hinges go were broken, other wood boards split. I won’t order from them again. Decided to keep it…luckily my husband was able to make it work. We will have to wait to see how it holds up.

OK selection of items, but very slow overseas delivery, which is a shame since I was told by support it would not be a problem.

I was a loyal customer of chewy for years; in fact, so loyal that I actually bought their stock. Lately their delivery times have been unreliable, sometimes upward of a week. Since they tout 1-3 delivery, and since this as happened to me multiple times, I must say that this is nothing short of false advertising. Moreover, their prices have become the highest of every supplier. I changed vendors. No more orders for Chewy from me. Oh, and I sold the stock.

You order above the $49 they keep changing the price to under $49 they can charge you shipping have to call every time I'm 6 cents from the $49 and they keep trying to charge me the shipping have to call every time and all they say is you have to buy something else

Chewy had a promo if you spent $100 you got a $30 chewy gift card. I went online and purchased $106 worth of products, of which I really did not need because we had Auto ship. I was charged the $106 and never received a gift card. When I called and asked I was told I had to put in a promo code of "winter" to get this gift card. I was also told that this promotional offer had expired by the time I called. There were no prompts when I checked out to tell me this. I canceled my payment method and my autoship orders. When I called to get assistance on canceling these I was told by the representative "that's okay". Yes that's okay Chewy is not the only place around to buy these products. There are other places that are just as cheap, and don't make you spend $59 to get free shipping. One of them is local. I can order my pet supplies and actually receive them the same day. I don't have to wait on a delivery service and track it daily to see where my items are. After several years with chewy, we are done. Yes that's okay

For the Love of God stop smashing my items! Whoever is packing the boxes puts 40lb cat litter in with my freeze dried items and other treats! My dog isn't going to eat ground up freeze dried food! Also dented canned food cat and dog! and I get that it gets delivered and thrown all over the place but most of the time its a packing issue! This happens often so I am going to have to seek alternatives!

I have been shopping for my 10 animals on chewy for several years since they started their business in the last five years the customer service is horrible I have tried to reach out to Service at Chewy and email to ask for a manager to call me and there’s only one manager that ever reached out to me and she no longer works in the management department and one other manager that I was in contact with is ill and is unable to help I have tried several times to email the company telling them when I called her 800 number It doesn’t ring through it rings once and the call drops it doesn’t matter where I’m at I could be at work I could be at home I’ve checked my Verizon phone carrier multiple times called Executive Offices with Verizon and it’s not my phone it is the company line. I think I’m owed a gift card and I am owed a return label and I will refuse to shop at this company until they help me and assist me to fix this problem permanently if I don’t get assistance I will contact the Better Business Bureau to get my gift card and my return label
