The last 2 months Chewy has started adding pending charges for DOUBLE the amount I purchased. They say this is supposed to drop off after 24-48 hours,.... but here we are 4 days later and they are all still present. Add this to the consist problems with shipping times and missing items the last few shipments from them and sadly I will have to purchase elsewhere.

I have been a loyal customer for years. I have bought dog gates, dog food, dog treats etc. So today I order treats for my 4 dogs. Buy 2 get 1 free. For quantity I chose 2 because that’s how many I bought! Come to find out I don’t get my “free” bag of treats because I didn’t select 3 for my quantity! I didn’t buy 3! I bought 2! I tried to cancel my order. Of course it has already shipped! I have had auto ship for all my 4 dogs needs for a few years. Not anymore! I am now a PetFlow auto ship customer!!! By the way my son no longer is a chewy customer either!

The shipping company chewy uses is a joke! On numerous occasions I've received my orders damaged, left at the end of my driveway or near the sprinklers while running. I've called customer service complaining about their shipping company, with no resolutions. I wanted to be a loyal customer but I can no longer tolerate the shipping company chewy uses.

I was a fan until now. They can’t get my heart gaurd order correct. I’ve been charged and ordered it 2 weeks ago. Still not here. Called and they said they would send replacement, still not here. I’ve had to continually call every day to get this corrected. Getting pissed they can’t get this right.

Horrible. My auto ship was double billed and double shipped two months in a row. Called customer service twice was told didn’t happen. I have bank withdrawal and fedex tracking shows it did. Customer service very unhelpful. Also had items billed to my account I didn’t order. They did finally figure that out. I’m done

The problems I have had getting my pet her prescriptions from Chewy.com are HORRIBLE. This defeats the purpose of using a site where the whole focus is pet support. Prescriptions are vital to our pet's well being and the fact that their policies do not make it easier for any pet owners and have this LARGE time lapse of where our pets don't get the proper care. I first didn't even get ANY notifications until it was WAY too late that they needed hard copies of prescriptions and my vet wasn't sending the hard copies anymore....shouldn't this have been sent to all pet owners months in advance? Especially if orders are on AUTO ORDER? I mailed the prescriptions as soon as I found out and picked up copies, but it's been 2 weeks and their only response is, "Sorry, mail can take 4-6 weeks to get to us." If these policies create this time lapse where critical foods, treats, and medications can't be properly given to the pets, it's really not beneficial to use a company that doesn't reflect this and creates a space where we are neglecting the needs of our pets. Chewy's policy of how you are there for our pets, making it easier for us especially during the pandemic is violated by this lack of support. I am leaving for a company that TRULY communicates, cares for our pets and their well being. Sandra Lee

I agree with other reviews. I used to get my orders within 48 hours. Now it takes weeks. My last order went from Arizona to Texas and back to Arizona before arriving to me in San Diego. The main reason I ordered from Chewy was the fast delivery. No reason to order from them any more.

Customer service that sticks to a script over chat and isn't helpful. I placed an order and noticed that even though the item hasn't shipped, the price has gone down. When I utilized the chat service to both check in on why it hasn't shipped and to see if a price adjustment was possible, I was told that it was out of their hands. Very unclear that 3rd party vendors can sell on the Chewy website and the fact that I can't even cancel the order to take advantage of a sale is ridiculous. I would have to wait to receive the product, then initiate a return to basically receive a price adjustment since their policy is so strict. No ability to simply cancel the order despite the fact that the order has not even shipped. Complete waste of time. I am officially done purchasing with Chewy.
