Would be a 0 star review, but that isn’t an option. Ordered over $400 in product for our new puppy. Received everything except for the food. It’s now been 10 days later and I still don’t have the food because it was “lost in transit”. When I called the company to ask for expedited shipping on the item, they refused. When I replied that I needed the food and if they can’t give me expedited shipping or an ETA on when I would be receiving it then I would no longer be ordering through them, her response was, “that’s fine sir”. So, I still don’t have dog food and I don’t have an ETA on when it will arrive. They don’t care about your business or your pets. The WORST customer service ever!

I decided to try Chewy again even though my last experience wasn't that wonderful. Due to the increased Covid risk of exposure, I decided to order cat litter and cat boxes online from Chewy (I have four rescue cats). The litter arrived yesterday, and we couldn't lift the boxes because they were over 100 pounds! The cat boxes didn't arrive, they were held up @ a FedEx place, and listed as "undeliverable" (even though the correct address was on the boxes and we had ordered from Chewy before). I was informed that it would take 48 business hours to correct the address; (why I don't understand a the addresses are already correct) then I would have to track when the boxes would be delivered. I explained I needed them early this week as my husband is having two outpatient surgeries and I need to change all the cat boxes with the new litter before his surgeries. The reason why I ordered from Chewy was to receive items together and fairly quickly! I was informed it would take 3 to 5 days to return the boxes to Chewy's warehouse, THEN, it would take @ least another 3 to 5 business days for my refund! I decided to return the boxes, and purchase them locally - probably I will have to purchase them from several stores. I will NEVER buy from Chewy again. Ridiculous!

This is an AZ company. I live in AZ and wish I could support them, but I cannot. Like any company, they started out great but went sour over time. Their problem is in delivery. I am a kennel owner, and used their subscribe and save. They guarantee a 3 day maximum ship wait if you order at least $35 in merchandise. My shipments are from $300 to $500 on subscribe and save. This last shipment has taken over 7 days and still hasn't arrived. This is the third time they have dropped the ball on deliveries, and many of my friends and other breeders complain about the very same thing. I do not recommend this company due to their inconsistency on deliveries and their inability to learn from their mistakes when a complaint is made. Go to Amazon or anyone besides this company if it's about dog food. Now, if you want a cute dog toy or outfit, yup, they'll get that to you within 3 days, but not dog food. I had to purchase from a retail store which cost me dearly because they could not get this order to me on time...again! Learn from my mistakes and find a bulk retailer like Midwest Greyhound Supply which will save you thousands overall plus it's delivered to your doorstep.

My orders having been preparing for shipment for days on 2 different orders. Customer service keeps assuring me it will ship by the end of the day but never does.

I had been using chewy for over a year and it was great and then an auto-ship placed an order 3 weeks too early and it was delivered. I then had to wait until the $200+ order with all of my dogs medicines arrived to return them and for them to even process a refund. This process took me 4 phone calls, 3 transfers to managers and supervisors because of errors on Chewy’s end, an accumulated 2 hours of my time over a period of a holiday week and beginning of the month. An inconvenient drive to FedEx and customer service saying they started a refund 5 days prior to them actually starting the refund process. The fact I received nothing for the auto ship error and the time and frustration I spent with this I suspended/deactivated everything, which will further cause me more inconvenience not having delivery. I would advise everyone that uses Chewy to never use there auto ship and watch out for every transaction. For such a large company you would think they would have better ways to manage issues like this.

I ordered Insulin & syringes again for my dog on Dec. 18th. I called them to find out where my order was on Dec. 22. They blamed my vet for the delay (vet gave them 90 day script) I cancelled the order (#1136346591) not once, not twice but three times. (they said to refuse shipment) I received notification today that my order shipped today and they withdrew $77 from my account. I will start supporting my brick & mortar stores. To think a company who is in the pet business would take 17 days to ship "life saving medicine" for a pet is unacceptable. Support your local stores please, they give jobs to your local friends, families and students.

I bought a “dog gate” from Chewy.com. To say I’m disappointed doesn’t even begin to describe it. What I paid nearly $40 for is a cheaply made light wooden accordion gate, barely held together with brad nails. Don’t waste your money.
