The last 5 orders have been late. Last order placed two days ago delayed because they cant get a hold of my vet for prescription dog food.( Needing a prescription for dog food is a joke. There are no drugs in Royal Canine Hrydro protein.) Called my vet. Guess what no calls from Chewy. This is my last order. Going back to Petco. Congratulations on your 3.4 star reviews.

They use FedEx, and FedEx is garbage. They lie about when they deliver everything to my house. It will say delivered at 3pm and show up at 9-10pm, or worse the next day. I just love having to worry about weather they've lost my order or delivered it to the wrong address for up to 24 hours.

Hello; I saw a review from a disable war vet that Chewy.com didnt deliver his last 10 bags of Ziwi Vension dry food for his service dog after many phone calls and emails to their CEO and there parent company BC Partners , very very poor customer service to our war vet and his service dog they should be a shame of themselves on how they treated them .I am a customer of chewy.com for a long time and after reading this ,i am stopping of being a customer for good ! Chewy claims the fastest way to get your prescription filled is for their pharmacy to contact the vet. Chewy somehow lost the response and didn't reach out to them for three days and then didn't ship it till the day after that. The order was for INSULIN. Animals die without INSULIN. They shouldn't be allowed to handle pet meds.

For the second time my order was delivered to the wrong address. Therefore I will not be ordering from Chewy again. Then when calling Customer Service about it the phone kept cutting in and out I don’t even know if I’m gonna get a refund or not I finally hung up

Been with Chewy for two years. In the beginning things were great, but as time went on things went downhill real quick. Orders coming in damaged due to poor packing, late, incorrect and at times were canceled when they shouldn't have been and sent when they were canceled. Communication is a joke! You talk to a different person every time whether it is through email or calls. That opens the door for constant inconsistent answers and then ultimately messed up orders. They are very quick to offer a replacement or refund, however, they don't bother fixing the problem at hand. They do send birthday cards/gifts or sympathy gifts when you lose your pet but once again not consistently so that leaves some customers feeling left out when their pets aren't acknowledged. Once more another problem they throw money at rather than ensuring no pet is forgotten. They are proud of their 100% guarantee of the products, and actually stand behind it. I have honestly reviewed all my purchases and received full refunds for all the things that didn't work out, wound up with a hefty refund. I expressed my concerns to a supervisor on this policy as I hate to see any business lose money and was told Chewy is doing so good they can afford to give us customers all of our money back from products that were not up to par.....once this word gets out they'll be changing that policy or out of business! The customer service reps are nice for the most part but seem to lack training as they all do things differently causing confusion and frustration for the customer. I hope to see Chewy get their act together, it is convenient and competitively priced with a big variety of supplies to choose from. Their hearts may be in the right place but their lack of training and inconsistencies wind up ruining things every single time.

We ordered prescription ear drops for our furry little family member. Chewy then called our vet to verify the prescription. Chewy.com sent us insulin and not the ear drops out prescription was for. Anyone who is not familiar with pet medications could have given easily given the wrong medication to their pet with devastating consequences. Shame on you Chewy. When dealing with other peoples pets YOU NEED TO PAY ATTENTION!!!!

Purchased Urinary Food for my Cat using a prescription which I thought was odd at first, since his condition is supposed to be something that recurs and should be treated for life. The script said 3 refills, however, after only two shipments chewy said they'd need vet approval to get more. Since we aren't going back to that vet (after charging us $3k over what they'd told us they would charge) nor have we been provided with what was prescribed, we won't be using Chewy either. It is a shame you prey on pet owners.
