I love Chewy, except for one thing
I love Chewy. I get litter and other things for my cats from them. It's a great company with excellent customer service. They even gave me a full refund for a product I bought that I didn't like, and suggested that I donate the product to someone else, which I did. I was pretty amazed by that. I would give them five stars except for one thing: when they pack the boxes of cat litter, they're almost always packed lying on their sides, rather than standing up in the packing carton. Every single one that's shipped on its side splits a little at the top where the box handle is and litter spills out. Boxes shipped standing up don't do that. Chewy wraps each litter box in plastic, so when the shipment arrives, the spilled litter is contained but when I remove the plastic wrap, it goes everywhere and is wasted. I've contacted them at least twice to ask them to consider shipping the boxes upright (I've gotten them that way, so I know it's possible), but to no avail. I just unwrapped 20 boxes of litter today, and swept up probably two pounds of litter that is just wasted. Every single one had split a little. Otherwise, wonderful company. Even though I'm frustrated with this one problem, I will continue to buy from them.
