We ordered Raw Instinct FROZEN CHICKEN dog food, I emphasize FROZEN RAW CHICKEN! We received it 3 days later with no freezer packs, thawed and spoiled. They are great for dry dog food, but I will now continue to buy my Raw Instinct from Pet Supply Plus. The good news is we were refunded the $40.00 for the food.

I have used chewy off and on for quite awhile… while at most times I have no issues or worries the service the last couple of times have been less than par. I have an auto shipment of frozen raw food for my pup first couple deliveries good however the way the package was shipped the packing part of it was terrible we were told by tracking it would arrive this day waited all day showed up the day after completely thawed out dry bags no moisture at all and the box itself was soggy.. called chewy they sent out a replacement the exact same way THIS FAILED the first time yet repeated process with the exact same thing.. I asked for a refund as the replacement order and the first order were both spoiled packed incorrect and they refused . Very very disappointed and will look for other means. friends and family that use chewy have also shared similar situations with little customer service . It would not be so bad if one it wasn’t so expensive for that food and not once but twice the shipment is packed in such a way that the food is left in a way that I would not feel safe serving as the raw meat was room temp … the lady I spoke with even said when I called to have refund that” oh well I guess you do not want to feed that to your dog”? Like seriously!!! It’s raw food that was delivered warm!

All of the items I order for my cat are prescription items for an older cat with renal disease. So far I have 3 different items (set up at different times) and each time my vet's office has to call 2 and 3 times with the approval before it gets applied to my account. Last Friday the vet's office said they called and even told me the date of my auto ship for the item, then I looked online tonight and after contacting Customer Service they said they have not received my vet's approval. My vet's office says this happens all of the time. Once the items are approved, the auto ship has been fine. But needing a prescription item for a pet and having to check and have my vet contact them multiple times is very frustrating.

I just received my order from chewy.com and was not happy. The victor senior dog food bag was split wide open. The entire content spilled into the box. And a box of greenies was placed under the 40 pound bag of dog food and crushed. Chewy is great but it’s the little attention to details that it needs to work on. This is the third bag of victor dog food that has been damaged.

I was a customer of chews for a long while and after things with corona happened everything just started to go downhill. The last time I had ordered from them it took a long time for it to get here I had done the order on the 29th of march and it took till the 12th of April. With them only using FedEx the box that had the pet food in it was a bit on the mangled side so yea.

Chewy itself is good, but it’s choice in delivery partners, FedEx leaves a lot to desired. EVERY order is a hassle to get on time! They don’t seem to know how to deliver to rural areas … if it ain’t a subdivision, they get lost! Chewy might want to consider another carrier rather than reshipping my orders on a regular basis.

I love the autoship…when they actually keep things in stock. 4 times now items that I have on autoship that have not been in stock so I still have to go and get it at the store. The last time they gave me 10% of the next order, which was nice… but when I applied the code to an order $50.98 before tax it only took off ~$3.50 which is not 10%. Not sure if it was a glitch or if they just didn’t expect someone who can easily calculate percentages use it.

Upd: the issue got resolved after I published it in Instagram I used their services previously and was happy enough to come back. This year I wanted to fulfill my stock and went to the site. The food I buy for my cat is intended for cats with health issues and since the start of the pandemic it has not been available in my country. I happened to come at a time when they had a special discount which I used successfully. I was happy to notify some of my friends and family members about the offer as some of them are dealing with health issues as well like with pancreas or allergy. My mom registered her own account and placed and order, indicating the address of a mail forwarder, which was the one I indicated too - a DHL partner in order to deliver to Europe. What they did was block my account as well as that of my mom, thinking that we’re are misusing the offer which enables you to buy three packages per person. Reaching customer support did not help. Shameful behavior. Thank god Amazon had it. Otherwise the situation would have been dire as I don’t have American card to be able to buy it anywhere.
