Chewy does not come through for us on orders and shipping anymore. Recently they forgot to send an order out and all orders are very late. My dogs end up without food. They used to be great on this bit no longer. I'll have to start buying food in store or from a more prompt provider. Kim McKellar

Order from them from time to time. Got a coupon in the mail offering $20 off on a purchase of $49 or more. Loaded up $60 worth of items in the cart and tried to apply the coupon. Get a message that the coupon is invalid with possible reasons as expired or entered incorrectly. Neither of which applied here. The coupon does mention excluded items but there were no messages to that effect in the error detail and no link to explicitly state what the exclusions were. Called customer service and it quickly went from information to negotiation. Couldn't tell me why the coupon didn't work. But offered to take $10 off instead of $20 and forward it to some nebulous customer service team who *might* apply an additional discount. Don't think so. It either costs a particular amount or not. What am I going to do if they don't give the additional discount? Pay shipping to send it back? He said I could email customer service. They quickly replied that I should call the customer service phone line. Okay, so how many times am I going to go one place and have them tell me to go back to the original place that sent me. Answer: once, that's it. If you're going to offer discounts then it ought to be upfront on what is included and what is not. And provide the representatives with the ability to either match the discount or tell you immediately that they can't. Not try to negotiate a lesser discount. Oh and when I emailed customer service I told them that I had been on the phone and been directed to them. So in addition to that, they need to actually read the entire message you sent them. Don't say I won't order from Chewy again, but from now on the discounts are going in the trash and I'm only going to order if it's something I can't find locally.

Chewy will not accept any negative reviews that tell the truth about certain pet foods. People should know the truth, reviews shouldn't be denied because of the truth.

They have some products in stock that other pet stores don't and sometimes they have decent promotions but the quality leaves a lot to be desired. Constantly receiving cat litter that's opened and torn. Cans of food are frequently dented and rotting on the inside. When I reach out to return they're so annoying to deal with. Some of their staff will tell you that you do not need to return, and then another staff tells you that you have to return. I have had to speak to management when one of their staff wrongly informed me to throw away the rotten cans, but then 3 other staff told me I have to ship it back way after it was already out of my house and in a garbage truck. Absolutely god awful customer service. If you can buy from literally anywhere else, do so. Only buy here if there's some crazy sale and cross your fingers the food doesn't arrive in poor condition.

Although I have not had a big problem with product quality. If you.do have an issue that you are forced to email with customer service the service is awful. I have been waiting a week for an answer. I did get an email response but it was not even to.the question I asked. I am still waiting and have sent follow up emails. In another day or 2 I will go to another company because if the service isn't there when there's an issue to me it's just not worth it.

We have been ordering from Chewys for 7 years. It was great. Products were good. Twice I got product that was old and they refunded me. This year the service turned horrible. Orders are late. They email me to call and confirm my order. I do. And then my order gets cancelled. No reason given. Credit card was approved. I spend at least 1k a year with them. But I will be ordering from someone else now. They also stopped honoring some of their coupons. They have told me I already used them. When I did not. And they sometimes do not remove the full 5% discount for auto ship.

I used chewy years ago but stopped after several dented cans. Figured I'd try again this time ordering blue buffalo dry dog food. I was surprised and disappointed that the bag came from southern Florida. I live outside pittsburgh pa. There's a chewy distribution in pa. Why send me overheated old bagged dog food. It had no buddies points inside and my dog puked it up. It's been hid food for years. I'm done with chewy for good. Pi k up at store at petsmart works fine. I will check more dates since petsmart does own chewy or vice versa.

I placed an order from Chewys on October 3rd. They showed it delivered October 6th, however, the photo showed someone else’s house. I notified Chewy’s and sent a photo of my front door. They apologized and said they would ship out a replacement. My order was over $120.00. I have never received the replacement products. Nor have I received a refund. Chewy’s has lost my business. I am editing my review as of today Chewy’s has refunded the $124.00.
