This was the worst experience I've ever had. First they denied my prescription even though my vet approved it and we had to start the order entirely over. Then they put down the wrong shipping address (why I don't know as my address was listed CORRECTLY when I ordered this product online). Then it took 10 phone calls to get the address corrected... nobody there seemed to care that they (Chewy) changed it internally to a wrong address after they cancelled it the first time by mistake. Then it didn't go out on time due to all the issues with Chewy. Finally, I needed this product desperately as it was a mare of mine that was having health issues and time was of the essence to treat her. The day they were supposed deliver the product the service they used did not deliver it to me (but stated it was delivered). I repeatedly had to call Chewy to locate the package. The manager was arrogant and basically couldn't care less of the urgency I needed this medication. He stated I needed to file a police report and email that in and the following week they would ship out the product. He did not want to help me whatsoever even though I stated this medication was for a mare whose health was declining and this delay was seriously affecting her health. I have witnesses who looked for the package earlier at the mailboxes (that is where they stated to have delivered it) and we also thoroughly searched around the house to make sure it wasn't put somewhere else. At about 6:30 pm I was advised by my neighbor (I had been making calls to make sure it wasn't delivered to someone else I knew in the vicinity) to go to all the subdivisions and check their mailbox stations. On my way out I found the package in the driveway (wasn't there when I came home at 5 pm or when the neighbor checked for me at 3 pm) All I can think is someone got the package by mistake at a different location and decided to drop it off at my address this evening. My entire experience with Chewy was absolutely HORRIBLE. The way they continually screwed up a time sensitive order then treated me as if I was the criminal that stole the package is unbelievable. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY IF YOU NEED MEDICATION THROUGH THE PHARMACY.

Deliveries are late. I have to use Insta cart to emergency order food for my dogs while waiting well beyond the 1-3 day shipping. It's difficult to work all day and come home to no box on the door step and hungry animals only to have to pay someone else to bring the food to us.

Chewy/Fedex have failed to deliver my packages on time on several occasions now. My deliveries are time sensitive. I receive emails telling me I will receive my package on set day, then an email(s) will come through saying, Oh so sorry, package damaged, we are running late, same old lame excuses. I even call customer service and same old SSDD excuses. The warehouse I receive my order from is 4.5 hours away and this is not rocket science. If Fed Ex can't get it together, then find a carrier that can. You give your word and then renege, which qualifies both of you as liars. I will never refer anyone to you again. 1-800- Pet Meds, AlliVet, Doctors Foster and Smith are others that can be used along with local pet stores and they deliver or do curbside as well. VERY POOR BUSINESS FORM, VERY POOR.

In the past I have loved Chewy, they deliver quickly, they are super sweet when you loose a pet sending flowers and are kind all around, however, as it pertains to this order i am EXTREMELY disappointed. My vet approved these pills in a timely manner, and i called Chewy multiple times as I noticed it was delayed. I was assured multiple times that they would rush the shipment, even claiming they would overnight it. NONE of this happened. I had to REQUEST this, where at a different online pharmacy i never even mentioned that with one order and they immediately stepped up and overnighted a shipment. Maybe its the pharmacy department but regardless, it is my mistake, i should have spoken to a manager. For pills i will go back to another meds company at this point.

I went on-line to get Purina pro plan urinary tract health for my cat. Stores around here are sold out a lot anymore. I couldn't get over how expensive it is on chewy. I have had this issue before with Chewy. Also nothing is every delivered on time. Went back to the pet store to see when it will come in again and was told the day and time to be there. Chewy isn't worth the hassle.

I have a prescription diet to use for my 15 year old cat. The food was out of stock for 1 month. Contacted Royal canin, chewy during this time, many excuses, no useful information. Finally this past Thursday they had the food available. I ordered a case, cost almost $100. They only sell it by case. Chewy uses the horrible FedEx as shipper. Well, I received a text message at 11:46 am, package delivered. No, it was NOT received. I immediately called FedEx and chewy. It turned out it was delivered to a wrong building and up till now, 4 days later, FedEx did not go to retrieve it, because I did not receive anything, they refused to go that day after I reported it. See FedEx review with details. I know, because I did not get the original package. No communication, no explanation, no update, no delivery, no food delivered by FedEx. Chewy arranged for a replacement 3 times. They Paid for priority service twice. FedEx held up the package for whatever reason, still did not receive anything. Since Friday. For the nth time I spoke to chewy customer service. A very nice and helpful lady. She submitted a 3rd request for replacement, 2 cases. It was supposed to be shipped by a different shipper yesterday, to be received today, Monday. I see online in my chewy account that the package was not picked up from chewy. I asked for a supervisor. Apparently my replacement was HELD UP by chewy. One case approved, the other case THEY SENT A REQUEST TO MY VET WHO IS CLOSED SUNDAY AND TODAY. A request to my vet? The prescription is good for 1 year. I can order 10 cases! Why not send the 1 replacement case that was approved???????? Instead of sending out the 1 case which is now an emergency to replace the lost package, chewy decided to hold up and hold hostage both cases. the replacement now turned into a big circus act. Please explain, where is some common sense? Unfortunately the woman I spoke to before was not available, and the manager I spoke to thought it was a brilliant and valid idea to hold up the approved order and wait for the vet to respond. Today is a holiday, they are closed. They were also closed yesterday. THIS WAS A REPLACEMENT FOR THE FOOD LOST ON FRIDAY!!!! Is this so difficult to comprehend? If so that person should not be employed by chewy. So far I thought highly of chewy and their customer service. Not any more. Stop sending me “hugs and kisses e mails” for my cats and deliver my prescription food! Customers want first and foremost availability of products and efficiency in delivery. That’s all I want from chewy. All the other fluff is ok, but does not replace getting what the customer ordered and paid for. If you send the fluff in this case it is a nuisance, making me think you are totally clueless. Chewy should get rid of FedEx immediately!

I have loved Chewy for years, the personalized service I received and fast shipping and availability have been top notch. UNTIL someone hacked my account. I was very appreciative that this was caught and rectified immediately, however, I was locked out of my account. I called the number as instructed, and was told the fraud department would contact me in "24 to 48 hours". Two weeks later, I called again. The representative sent me a link to reset my password. Still locked. I was then told that only a manager could unlock my account, and someone would contact me in "24 to 48 hours". Two more weeks pass, still no contact. So I have had to find alternate means to get my dog food and cat food (I have A LOT of cats and 2 large dogs, so I use A LOT of food), and I sent a bit of a scathing email because I am very frustrated at this point. Again, I am told someone will contact me in "24 to 48 hours. That has now been a week ago, and I am still locked out of my account, and at this point, I am fed up and just DONE. I will take my thousands I spend on my pets elsewhere now.

Ok first of all i would like to say that chewy.com has always been a 5 star rating in our house "but" we are a small rescue and have counted on chewy.com for our orders its been 3 times that chewy.com has let us down when we needed them most I work and don't have time to run to the store , yesterday we were waiting for a shipment and because of a problem on chewy.com end our shipment wont be here untill the 8th which puts us in a difficult situation so now i have to find time to go to petsmart and buy cat litter and cat food and kitten food for rescued kittens we just got , i really trusted chewy.com but its 1 to many times now.
