Just lunch, but a great experience we'll never forget
I was the lucky winner of an auction for lunch in Los Angeles with an actor that included a cast member jacket from his show. Winning bid was in 2019 or beginning of 2020, so just before Covid hit. Not only did Charitybuzz stay in contact the entire time, they facilitated everything perfectly. The actor was beyond gracious and fulfilled the lunch despite the offer being 2 to 3 years earlier. My wife and I enjoyed the afternoon with 2 hours for lunch and chatting with him. It was absolutely awesome, and actually well exceeded our expectations. Thank you for a great time and one that benefitted IAMA Theater in Los Angeles!

Buyer Premium Missing on postings.
The suctions are fun and it's great to purchase on the website. I would like to see the Buyer Premium on each bid since the FAQ has a range. When bidding I don't like making assumptions, tell me what percentage is being charged on each item.

Not much help or value
I mistakenly placed a bid on something I didn't want and Charitybuzz did not try to help in any way.
Response from CharitybuzzJul 29, 2022
Hi Ric, Thanks for your feedback. We try to be as accommodating as possible with our winners, but we cannot remove bids and we are pretty strict about this in order to maintain the integrity of our marketplace. All bids placed on the Charitybuzz website are legally binding. If you are the successful bidder, you will enter into a legal contract to purchase the item and will be considered the buyer of the lot. Our team is ready to assist in answering any questions you may have about an auction lot prior to placing a bid to ensure that you are bidding with full confidence.

there has been just talk
there has been just talk, rudeness, excuses, and delays regarding fulfilling my purchase. It is an absolute sham. I will not be using charitybuzz again, will tell my friends to do the same, and have notified my attorney.
Response from CharitybuzzJul 29, 2022

Not sure where the extra 2K + charge…
Not sure where the extra 2K + charge came on my purchase. That was definitely not done upfront. I feel like I was surprised for a very large amount of the purchase. Happy i won the auction.
Response from CharitybuzzJul 28, 2022
Hi Joe, Congratulations on your auction win! The charge that you see is our Buyer's Premium. We charge a premium across our site to continually improve the experience for our nonprofit partners and customers and, most importantly, maximize the money raised for charity. We do alert customers that there will be additional fees and call out our buyer's premium in the bid box. Additionally, our fees are outlined right at the top of our conditions of sale tab, which is present on every lot page. Please let us know if there's anything else we can help clarify, as we value your partnership as a Charitybuzz customer.

Rip off
The piece I bought was completely misrepresented. Beware. Said it was a 2 karat black Diamond and was actually 1 k onyx. Ripoff. Happy to give for charity but this was a complete lie.
