Bad advice from Charge Point customer service
My charger had a red light and did not charge last night. I had this happen once before a few weeks ago. Then competent service rep fixed it by working on the software. Today the totally incompetent service rep. told me the unit was bad and I needed a new one. I told her it had been fixed recently so she told me to turn the breaker on and off. I did and it worked. She then said I probably have a bad breaker and should have the circuit checked by a competent electrician. The electrician just left and told me everything was just fine (he used his tools to check it). So now I am out $50 for a service call that the totally unknowledgeable Charge Point rep told me was necessary when it wasn't needed. Previously the same problem was fixed by working on the Charge Point software.
