Terrible app. Just terrible working with it every time I need to charge my car in the apartment. Multiple steps are required to just do a simple charge, and needs to be connected to internet when 99% of garages in LA are underground and has no WiFi. Its company is actually embarrassing compared to tesla supercharging stations. PS customer service is in India, so good luck with that.

In Liezen mit Kreditkarte und App geladen. Da ich bereits mehrmals an diesen Ladesäulen geladen hatte, war ich sehr überrascht, dass auf der Abrechnung die Position "Ladekosten - Andere Dienstleistungen" idHv € 10.20 angeführt ist. Erst bei näherem Hinsehen bemerkte ich, dass die Ladestationen von einem anderem Ladesäulenbetreiber betrieben werden. Da vor dem Ladevorgang keinerlei Hinweis auf die zusätzlichen Gebühren gemacht wurde, halte ich diese Gebühr für rechtswidrig. Sie macht immerhin über 50% der reiene Ladekosten aus. Mal sehen, wie es mit der Kundenbetreuung aussieht und ob mein Reklamationmail beantwortet wird. Auf jeden Fall lade ich dort nicht mehr. Update: Support funktioniert nach rechtsverbindlicher Abmahnung. Es wurde der Hinweis gegeben, dass die Gebühren während des Anmeldens bei der App angezeigt werden, als Beweis wurde ein Screenshot beigelegt. Daraus ist ersichtlich, dass dieser Hinweis keinesfalls an prominenter Stelle und deutlich sichtbar angebracht ist und vor allem in sehr kleine Schrift. Das dürfte ich übersehen haben. Auf jeden Fall nicht benutzerfreundlich und ob Absicht dahinter steht, soll sich jeder selbst beantworten. Die "Andere Servicegebühr" beträgt nach 45 Minuten 36 Cent pro Minute. Das kann richtig teuer werden. Warum das in der Rechnung nicht aufgeschlüsselt ist.....?

I will NEVER use a ChargePoint station again! It is a complete rip off. I charged my car for an hour and it cost me $47. I charge my car regularly at Electrifying American ( Walmart charging stations) and for one hour it cost me $20. Plus when your car is charging it doesn't show how much the rate of the cost is. Now I know why it doesn't, so it can take all your money! STAY AWAY FROM CHARGEPOINT!!!!

Chargepoint pre june would take extra from credit card so credit was in place for the next charging episode. 30th june the company announce they are no longer offering the charging option to the general public and refunds will be made. For some reason the timeframe was up to 90 days. My account has an incorrect card number on it, which isn't mine, wasnt put in by me, and therefore they cant refund it. An IBAN was given 30th July and still no refund. I have chased numerous times with promises it will be escalated with no resolution. If you ask to speak to a manager or supervisor they dont exist the call centre staff can only message them. If you send an email it either doesnt get responded to or you get a generic AI response. I have no idea why they cant take a credit card number and refund to it. I suspect this is a way for the company to make money by withholding money in the hope the customer wont chase for it. Charge back on credit card it is!

⭐ 1 Star – Worst EV Charging Experience Ever! Worst company ever! I do NOT recommend ChargePoint. They put a $50 hold on your money for up to 7 days just to charge your electric vehicle. This is ridiculous and completely unacceptable. Customers shouldn’t have to wait a week to get their own money back just because they used a charging station. There are plenty of better ways to handle payments without tying up customers’ money for days. This experience is frustrating, inconvenient, and makes me think twice about ever using ChargePoint again. Avoid ChargePoint if you don’t want your money held hostage! Terrible customer experience. 🚫

Die Konten für Privatkunden wurden im Juni 2026 aufgrund neuer AGBs aufgelöst. Man konnte die Rückerstattung des Guthabens beantragen, was ich auch gemacht habe. Seither warte ich auf mein Geld und alle Anrufe /Mails beim Support blieben ohne Aktion. Eine absolute Zumutung - und Frechheit, sich so zu verhalten, ganz egal um welchen Betrag es hier geht.

Dommage je ne peux mettre ZÉRO! le 19 juin j'ai été débitée sur mon compte carte de plusieurs montants frauduleux effectués à l'étranger le même jour. J'ai dû faire opposition à ma carte et changer le mot de passe sur mon compte ChargePoint. Mes multiples appels téléphoniques, mails, contacts directs via leur site et mon courrier recommandé avec AR du 07 septembre 2026 sont tous restés sans réponse! Ma prochaine étape sera le service médiation afin d'obtenir dédommagement et préjudice moral et NE FERAIS PLUS AUCUNE RECHARGE VIA CHARGEPOINT! JE DECONSEILLE FORTEMENT
