Thus far everything has gone very smoothly. I was SUPER sceptical at first but I read a bunch of reviews and I just went for it. My apartment has accepted the letter and they mailed me an official copy with my healthcare professional's letterhead on it. On your account they give you a downloadable copy as well. I bought the airline and apartment letter, and I have yet to use the airline letter. I'm about to schedule a flight next week so we will see if it all works out. Customer service was awesome. I needed my healthcare professional's phone number for additional paperwork and CertaPet sent it to me like 30 minutes later. My dog was also certified within 36 hours which was impressive turn around time. Two things that I did think that should be included in the package was the ESA dog card which identifies your pet as an ESA, that costs additional money and also any additional paperwork that your healthcare professional has to fill out. Anytime my apartment needs more paperwork it's at extra $20 each time. Honestly, I would totally do this again with this company.

FRAUD! Don't ruins your holidays! We paid for the certificate, but some companies are now asking you to fill their own forms, and CERTAPET refused to fill-it and refunded us only partially! STAY AWAY!

I never imagined how supportive and helpful everyone would be. This whole experience has been such a blessing. It took some time and work for certapet their customer service and therapist but everyone was so eager and prompt in getting this whole process in motion. They left no room at all for me to question if this was the right choise or if it was actually 'real' because every time I had a question or issue a real person responded via phone or email. My apartment complex where I live is a no dogs allowed facility so there were some hoops to jump through and the complex lawyer was less than understanding at first. Needless to say June 1st I took home my new puppy a beautiful five-month-old hound mix adopted from a rescue facility. I'm not sure who is more happy and grateful... myself or Levi. It seems he already knows his job. He is eager to learn and hasn't wanted to leave my side. He's literally my new shadow. I can't express how much my heart spills over with joy and gratitude for everybody that works for certapet. I want to send a special thanks to Julie and Amanda, you are both amazing. Terrible site.... went through the process and they denied my letter.... kept part of the money refunded. They must do this a lot to make their money. I feel ripped off

I used Certapet.com to register my dog as an ESA for my anxiety and PTSD. Now a property management company or landlord cannot deny me or charge any fees they normally would. This is especially pertinent as he is a pit bull mix and there are often breed restrictions on rental properties. Now I have an ESA letter after a thorough emotional assesment from a licensed mental health professional and cannot have my dog denied from me! I am SO happy I found Certapet. People who say it is a scam most likely are not using it for legitimate reasons.

This company was fantastic!! It is in no way a scam. It is only a platform to connect you to a mental health professional who can work to diagnose any mental health illness and offer continued therapy (if desired) via video web chat. You DO have the option to continue treatment with this professional via web chat (on your own dime though). Living in a rural area with minimal access to a mental health professional, this was a huge blessing for me! Also you are never guaranteed to qualify for an ESA. The mental health professional assigned to your case will do a one-on-one evaluation/ treatment to decide if an ESA in necessary. You could be denied an ESA.

For travel purposes, an ESA letter must be from a doctor *treating* your mental illness. The Certapet doctors don't treat and therefore cannot write legally applicable letters.
